On the menu: support for Dolby Vision HDR content. Developed by Dolby Laboratories, this HDR technology implements 12-bit color depth and offers the movie industry and audiovisual professionals a true workflow (by creating a standard). With a rigorous protocol for  the sample rates of masters during post-production and Dolby Vision certification for players and displays already on the market (4K UHD displays and 4K UHD projectors), the viewer can rest assured that the image displayed on the screen is a faithful representation of the director’s original intentions.
