The new Peugeot 408 sedan is equipped with a new Focal Premium Hi-Fi System (as standard or optional depending on the model). A dozen Focal speakers are positioned throughout the interior to ensure a homogeneous music distribution. It was in 2014 that Focal became the new Premium Hi-Fi partner of the PSA Group. The Focal Premium Hi-Fi System of the Peugeot 408 has 10 speakers with exclusive technologies. The center channel featers a Polyglass cone while the four hi-fi midrange drivers are equipped with TMD surrounds. There are also four TNF aluminum inverted dome tweeters. A high excursion Focal subwoofer with triple coil Power Flower technology accompanies these drivers. The system is powered by a full active 12-way amplifier of 690 watts (Class D boosted technology).
