Japanese manufacturer Denon recently unveiled its latest masterpiece: the Denon DNP-2000NE network player. This cutting-edge model features the brand’s best components and a host of technologies for getting the most out of Hi-Res tracks. A true all-in-one solution, it features HEOS multi-room functions, access to streaming services, and can even be connected to a TV via HDMI ARC.
Music streaming at your fingertips
Thanks to the integration of the Heos ecosystem, the Denon DNP-2000NE network player can play DLNA-shared music at up to a resolution of 24-bit/192kHz, as well as DSD files at 2.8 and 5.6 MHz. The Heos app makes it easy to navigate and select the tracks you want to listen to. In addition, it provides access to a vast collection of web radios and a plethora of music services including Spotify, Deezer, Tidal, Pandora and Amazon Music. To top it all off, music transmission is also available via AirPlay 2 or Bluetooth. Finally, USB playback is possible up to 32-bit/384kHz and DSD 11.2 MHz.

Optimized reproduction
At the heart of the Denon DNP-2000NE network player are four ESS Sabre ES9018KM2 DACs. This configuration with four separate DACs enables individual channel conversion, minimizing potential interference. Thanks to the extreme precision of its master clock, the DNP-2000NE eradicates any distortion due to jitter, guaranteeing optimal data processing.

The Denon DNP-2000NE network player is equipped with proprietary Ultra AL32 technology to bring out the best in all digital files. This innovation, already used on the brand’s top-of-the-range CD players such as the Denon DCD-A110, restores information lost during digital recording. To do this, it quantizes the audio data to 32 bits, then applies an interpolation algorithm with oversampling to maximize the naturalness, transparency and finesse of the reproduction.

Extended connectivity
Flexibility is the keyword when it comes to the Denon DNP-2000NE’s connectivity options. The connectors include a USB-B port for playing tracks stored on a computer at up to 32-bit/384 kHz and DSD11.2 MHz. Thanks to dual optical and coaxial inputs, you can connect a CD or SACD player, for example. Special mention goes to HDMI ARC connectivity, enabling the Denon DNP-2000NE to retrieve the soundtrack of the program being watched on the TV. Last but not least, two RCA outputs, one of which is variable-level, ensure that this network player is the ideal partner for any hi-fi system.

Price & availability
The new Denon DNP-2000NE network player is now available from Son-Vidéo.com for €1,599 in black or silver. This player is also available in a premium graphite finish for €1,799.
