FrançoisAs a buyer and seller of second-hand high-tech products for around ten years before joining Son-Vidéo.com in 2007, I had the opportunity to test a variety of amplifiers, speakers, headphones, TVs, projectors and DAPs… Passionate about films and series, music and new technologies, I’m particularly fond of the worlds of TV, video projection and home theater. I like to watch films with my family on the big screen, either at the movie theater or at home, but I also enjoy listening to music on a good hi-fi system, sat in a comfy armchair or on a walk with a pair of headphones.
ClaraA lifelong art enthusiast, I’ve made my way into the fascinating world of hi-fi and home theater. My trusty headphones are my constant companion, turning every journey into a private concert where I enjoy my favorite podcasts and catchy playlists one after the other. From rock and jazz to soul, rap and pop, my musical and cinematic tastes are very varied. If I’m not drawing or reading, I’m probably watching Friends, which I rewatch every time I finish the last episode.
KateA translator and writer with eclectic taste when it comes to music and film, when I’m not at work, you can find me watching Sofia Coppola’s “Lost in Translation” for the hundredth time or listening to a David Bowie, Kate Bush, Joy Division or Daft Punk record on my Rega Planar 1 turntable. Being British, I’m also a fan of surreal comedy series such as Monty Python’s Flying Circus and The Mighty Boosh!
VictorComing from a sports background, I decided to join the Son-Vidéo.com adventure in 2022 to develop my appreciation for the world of audio and home theater. Curious about cinema and music, I’m constantly on the lookout for technical innovations to enhance my experience. While I’m drawn to all kinds of cultural activities, I’m particularly fond of live performances (improv, stand-up shows, etc.). As a result, I spend my free time in stadiums, concert halls, cinemas and theaters, depending on what’s happening in Nantes… and the weather! Above all, I like to share these experiences with friends and family, so that we can share our different opinions.
Sébastien CassarA DJ in my spare time, and a big fan of soul, funk and disco, I also like rock, hip-hop, reggae and Latin music. The Temptations, Millie Jackson, Cerrone, Donald Byrd and Hamilton Bohannon… A bit of a movie buff, I have a passion for westerns (The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, Django Unchained…), science fiction films (Interstellar, District 9…) and war movies (The Thin Red Line, 1917, Saving Private Ryan…). I inherited my parents’ hi-fi system, which I gradually began to upgrade in 2000 when I started working for Son-Vidéo.com. Today I’m equipped with an Elipson Planet system powered by a Yamaha 5.1 amplifier. I don’t own a TV, but I do have an Epson projector and a motorized Lumene screen. Two Technics SL1200 turntables with an Ecler mixer, TEAC cassette deck and Onkyo Blu-ray player round off my setup.
JérémyPassionate about pop culture, cinema and music, and as an eighties kid, I grew up with cult films such as Ghostbusters, Back to the Future, Jurassic Park and Terminator. Science fiction is my favorite genre, but I also enjoy fantasy. A gamer at heart, I’ve had a real passion for video games from an early age, from RPGs to story-based titles and survival games. A big fan of rock and metal, I was even the guitarist in a band in my younger days. I’m also interested in new technologies, digital trends and artificial intelligence.
