Hi-fi specialist JBL is expanding its catalog with the unveiling of the new JBL Authentics range of connected speakers. It combines the modernity of WiFi and Bluetooth wireless connection with a design that pays homage to the 70s. An aesthetically appealing departure for this series of three connected speakers: the JBL Authentics 200, JBL Authentics 300 and JBL Authentics 500.

JBL Authentics: Bluetooth and WiFi
The connected speakers in the JBL Authentics range all feature a WiFi controller. This allows you to access an online music platform, such as Qobuz, Deezer or Apple Music, and enjoy lossless files. In addition to the local network, the JBL Authentics 200, JBL Authentics 300 and JBL Authentics 500 connected speakers incorporate a Bluetooth receiver for pairing with a compatible smartphone, tablet or computer.
What’s more, these new JBL speakers can be added to a multi-room system via AirPlay 2 and Google Chromecast. The practical Spotify Connect and Alexa Multi-Room Music protocols enable music to be streamed autonomously from Spotify or Amazon servers. Finally, Alexa and Google Assistant voice control is also included.
Authentics range: a tribute to the 70s
Inspired by the vintage design of the 70s, the JBL Authentics range of connected speakers captures the spirit of that decade. To achieve this, the three new speakers from the American manufacturer feature the Quadrex foam grille popularized by models in the iconic JBL Classic Series. The latter is covered with 100% recycled fabric.

With an elegant faux-leather covering, these connected speakers are true decorative accessories designed to be admired in the living room. A high-quality aluminum plate encircles the acoustic grille, giving the speaker an elegant finish.
