Premium Audio Company, parent company of Onkyo, Pioneer and Integra, is now offering a free license for DIRAC Live Room Correction calibration on several of its AV receivers. Which models are concerned, and how can you get it?
What is Dirac Live calibration?
The market leader in home acoustic correction, Dirac Live technology enables the response curve and reproduction of audio systems to be fine-tuned through a series of acoustic measurements. It ensures a significant improvement in the sound experience by taking into account the acoustic characteristics of the listening room (windows, ceiling height, floor materials, presence or absence of furniture in the room), as well as the performance of the speakers and the position of the listener. Once the process has been completed, you’ll enjoy a more precise, better-balanced soundstage, and improved detail perception.

“As a company specializing in high-end audio, we are proud to bring our customers turnkey solutions with high technological value and outstanding audio performance. Dirac Live technology is an innovative, professional-quality solution with hitherto unrivalled results that we are proud to offer free of charge to our customers, enabling them to enjoy the best possible sound at home!” said Paul Jacobs, president and CEO of Klipsch.
How to benefit from free Dirac Live calibration
The free Dirac Live calibration license is now available to users of the following AV receivers:
- Onkyo TX-RZ50, Onkyo TX-RZ70 and Onkyo TX-NR7100
- Pioneer VSX-LX305, Pioneer VSX-LX505 and Pioneer VSA-LX805
- Integra DRX-3.4, Integra DRX-5. 4 and Integra DRX-8.4
This license provides access to Dirac Live Room Correction calibration for optimized speaker and subwoofer reproduction. Users wishing to take low frequency adjustment a step further can pair this system with the optional Dirac Live Bass Control technology. The latter optimizes the interaction between subwoofers and speakers. It integrates measurement data and the location of each subwoofer to determine their distribution in the room, identify inconsistencies and compensate for discrepancies to ensure even sound distribution. This feature also corrects the temporal alignment of the bass relative to the main speakers, ensuring faithful reproduction of the entire audio spectrum.

“Today, the majority of listeners aspire to an authentic audio experience and are no longer content with “satisfying” sound. The demand for exceptional audio quality has never been greater. Our Dirac Live suite raises the bar in terms of audio performance for home theater. Our partnership with Premium Audio Company and its iconic brands allows us to reach as many people as possible. points out Mathias Johansson, co-founder and product manager at Dirac.
With this partnership, the Premium Audio Company group continues to develop its Onkyo, Pioneer and Integra AV amplifiers to offer ever more complete models, capable of adapting perfectly to any configuration. It is keen to stand out in a world where the Dirac Live system is often optional and expensive.
