UHD 8K and 4K
The R_volution Player One 8K multimedia player builds on the foundations of the R_volution Player One, to which it adds a more powerful Amlogic S928X-K/J processor. The latter supports UHD 8K and 4K streams at up to 60 fps. HDR10+ and Dolby Vision standards are also included for the display of high dynamic range content. It can play MKV, H.265 and x265 video files, with the option of downloading subtitles. DVD and Blu-ray ISO files are also accepted, providing access to original disc menus and bonus material. Finally, Dolby Atmos and DTS:X audio formats are supported up to 11.1.8 channels, while compatibility with DSD files (including ISO SACDs) and PCM up to 32-bit/384kHz is ideal for enjoying Hi-Res files.
Automatic indexing
In addition to supporting countless audio and video formats, the main strength of the R_volution Player One 8K lies in its proprietary R_Video interface. The latter organizes and displays detailed information for each title, including cover art, a summary, cast, director, first release date and ratings. The interface is worthy of a streaming platform, with display by cover, and a selection that can be refined according to many different criteria: duration, release date, alphabetical order, etc.
Internal or external storage
Thanks to its four USB ports (including three USB 3.0), the R_volution Player One 8K can easily centralize all content stored on multiple hard drives or USB sticks. They can also access files shared via DLNA on the local network, whether from a NAS or a computer. What’s more, its internal rack can accommodate a hard disk with a capacity of up 32 TB, allowing you to store your entire film and disc library locally.
