American specialist Klipsch has teamed up with Onkyo to design its new Klipsch Flexus home theater range. Comprising two soundbars, a subwoofer and wireless surround speakers, Klipsch Flexus offers a fully modular system for creating a tailor-made wireless home theater.

Klipsch Flexus 100 and 200 soundbars

The new Klipsch Core Flexus 100 and Klipsch Core Flexus 200 soundbars are the beating heart of the new Klipsch Flexus wireless home theater system range. They differ in format and acoustic design. More affordable, the Klipsch Core Flexus 100 has a 2.1-channel architecture, with the option of virtualizing Dolby Atmos soundtracks. It incorporates four drivers, including two 4″ woofers to deliver powerful bass in a compact format. Its amplification delivers up to 100W RMS and benefits from Onkyo’s refined electronics to maximize performance.

The Klipsch Core Flexus 100 soundbar offers a compact solution for enjoying virtualized Dolby Atmos sound.

The new Klipsch Core Flexus 200 soundbar is even more ambitious, with a 3.1.2-channel design. It benefits from a set of eight drivers, four of which are situated on the top panel to reproduce the vertical effects of Dolby Atmos tracks. The amplification of this model reaches 180W RMS for an impressive sound level of 99.8 dB. Enough to ensure a thrilling experience in the largest living rooms!

With its four top-mounted drivers, the Klipsch Core Flexus 200 soundbar immerses the listener in a genuine sound bubble.

The Klipsch Core Flexus 100 and 200 soundbars share the same connectors, with HDMI eARC and optical inputs for retrieving the TV soundtrack and connecting an audio source. Wireless music listening is also possible thanks to the integrated Bluetooth receiver. Both models can be controlled directly from their Bluetooth remote control or with the Klipsch mobile app. The latter offers several sound modes (film, music, surround and night), as well as a voice enhancement mode to ensure that dialogue is always clear. The same app also makes it easy to combine the various devices of the Klipsch Flexus range.

Thanks to their optical and HDMI eARC inputs, the Klipsch Core Flexus 100 and 200 soundbars can be easily combined with any TV or projector.

Klipsch Flexus Sub 100 subwoofer

The main advantage of the Klipsch Core Flexus 100 and 200 soundbars lies in their ability to create a custom wireless home theater system, matching the user’s current and future requirements. To enhance the experience, it is possible to add the Klipsch Flexus Sub 100 wireless subwoofer, specifically designed for this new range. This model features a 10″ long-excursion driver. Its 80W RMS class D amplification also benefits from the expertise of Onkyo’s engineers to maximize precision. This ensures deep, generous bass down to 26Hz. Up to two wireless subs can be wirelessly connected to the same soundbar, and a third can be added via a wired connection.

Each Klipsch Flexus soundbar can be combined with one or two Klipsch Flexus Sub 100 wireless subwoofers for even deeper, more generous bass.

Klipsch Flexus Surr 100 surround speakers

To complete the system, the American manufacturer has also developed the Klipsch Flexus Surr 100 surround speakers. Combined with the Klipsch Core Flexus 100 and 200 soundbars, they provide 3.1 and 5.1.2-channel spatialized sound. To effectively reproduce surround effects, each Klipsch Flexus Surr 100 speaker incorporates a 3″ full-range driver coupled to its own 50W RMS amplifier, developed once again by Onkyo. Communication with Klipsch Flexus soundbars is wireless, allowing the speakers to be placed anywhere in the room. They can be installed directly on a speaker stand, wall-mounted, or simply placed on a piece of furniture behind the sofa.

Thanks to their wireless connectivity and compact size, the Klipsch Flexus Surr 100 speakers can be installed discreetly in the living room for powerful, realistic surround sound reproduction.

Flexibility is at the heart of the new Klipsch Flexus range, which offers a fully upgradeable and modular wireless home theater system. The Klipsch Core Flexus 100 and Klipsch Core Flexus 200 soundbars are now available for pre-order on Son-Vidéo.com, priced at €399 and €499 respectively.
