As the days lengthen and the sun lightens the mood, music lovers rediscover the desire to share their music outdoors with friends. That’s exactly the goal of the new Sony ULT Power Sound range, which includes three Bluetooth speakers and one pair of wireless headphones. This series carries with it the promise of putting bass in the spotlight.

Sony ULT Power Sound, following in Klipsch’s footsteps
While Klipsch is particularly active in the portable speaker market, like Eltax and JBL, Sony is not to be outdone. Dedicated to parties, the Sony ULT Tower 10 speaker is reminiscent of the models in the Klipsch GIG range. However, with this all-in-one speaker, the Japanese manufacturer shows its capacity for innovation by offering a model capable of broadcasting sound and lighting effects at 360°, so you can immerse yourself in the heart of the party. The Sony ULT Tower 10 Bluetooth speaker is the largest in the new Sony ULT Power Sound range.
It is ahead of the Sony ULT Field 7, which appears to be the successor to the Sony SRS-XG300 model. It’s a portable Bluetooth speaker with a carrying handle. A rechargeable battery guarantees 30 hours of autonomy! IP67-rated, it’s dust and water resistant, so you can enjoy your music on the beach or by the pool.

Sony ULT Tower 10 and Sony ULT Field 7, speakers for dancing
The Sony ULT Tower 10 and Sony ULT Field 7 Bluetooth speakers are designed to make music lovers dance. Although they have different formats, these two new products from the Japanese manufacturer share a number of features. Starting with the Sound Field Optimization mode: an automatic calibration that adjusts sound reproduction to the surrounding noise. Integrated DSPs (Deep Bass and Attack Bass) can also be used to boost the bass to create the right ambience.

In terms of connectivity, the Sony ULT Field 7 and Sony ULT Tower 10 party speakers feature a powered USB-1 port and guitar/microphone input. While the smaller model has only a wired input, its bigger sibling also comes with a wireless microphone. More versatile, the Sony ULT Tower 10 also features an optical input. Last but not least, the Party Connect mode lets you link up to 100 of the brand’s speakers using cables.

Sony ULT Field 1, compact and portable
Finally, the Sony ULT Power Sound range offers a third Bluetooth speaker. Called Sony ULT Field 1, it comes in black, off-white, gray and orange. Robust and practical, this small portable speaker is IP67-certified and offers 12 hours of autonomy. So you can take your music with you wherever you go!

Its built-in microphone and Echo Cancelling technology also enable clear, smooth communications while maintaining the Bluetooth connection of the smartphone associated with the speaker. A practical everyday function for an afternoon on the patio, for example. Like all the Bluetooth speakers in the Sony ULT Power Sound range, the Sony ULT Field 1 model will be available in April for around €160.
Sony ULT Wear, affordable wireless headphones
In addition to three Bluetooth speakers, the Japanese manufacturer is adding wireless headphones to its new Sony ULT Power Sound range. The Sony ULT Wear Bluetooth headphones draw on the brand’s expertise, with highly effective active noise cancelling and a transparency mode that lets you have a conversation without removing the headphones.

The Sony ULT Wear Bluetooth headphones stand out for their ability to reproduce deep bass. To achieve this, they incorporate two dedicated DSP modes. The Deep Bass preset enhances the lower frequencies of the spectrum, while the Attack Bass mode, as its name suggests, favors bass attack with a more dynamic equalizer. Priced at around €200, the Sony ULT Wear wireless headphones are compatible with Google Fast Pair and, Bluetooth Multipoint, and support the LDAC codec, which can transmit HD audio files at up to 24-bit/96kHz.
While summer is synonymous with music, it could also be synonymous with Sony, whose new ULT Power Sound range promises to liven up parties and days by the pool. Its deep bass and modern designs will appeal to music lovers looking for a portable solution.
