Interchangeable batteries
Successors to the Fairphone True Wireless earphones and Fairphone Fairbuds XL headphones released last year, these new earbuds aim to be more ethical and environmentally friendly than most options on the market. At a time when disposable earphones have become commonplace and a growing source of pollution, Fairphone offers models equipped with interchangeable batteries.
This innovative approach extends the life of the earbuds and significantly reduces their environmental footprint. The brand claims 500 charge cycles. Note that the earphones alone have a battery life of up to 5 hours with ANC activated, and up to 6 hours without. With the case, this autonomy reaches 26 hours.
A total of seven parts can be easily replaced by the user: earbuds (left and/or right), earbud battery and silicone ring, ear tips, outer shell of the charging case, charging case core, charging case battery. What’s more, their IP54 certification makes them sweat- and water-resistant, so they’re perfectly suited to sports training and inclement weather.
Customizable sound
Thanks to their 11mm titanium-coated dynamic transducers, the Fairphone Fairbuds earbuds deliver a rich, balanced sound profile. But that’s not all: the Fairbuds app lets you further personalize your audio experience with its built-in eight-band equalizer.
With their active noise cancelling technology, the Fairphone Fairbuds Bluetooth earbuds can isolate the listener from external distractions thanks to their six microphones, three on each side. They accurately capture surrounding noise, enabling their ANC algorithm to act effectively.
Wireless connection
The Fairphone Fairbuds wireless earbuds feature a Bluetooth chip compatible with AAC and SBC codecs. A real plus, the Fairphone Fairbuds wireless earbuds support Bluetooth Multipoint connectivity, a handy feature that lets you connect them simultaneously to two different devices.
