LG recently unveiled its new PC monitors and gaming displays, with a host of models featuring impressive specifications. Whether it’s for gaming with the LG UltraGear OLED range of ultra-wide screens, for office use with the brand-new LG MyView Smart Monitors, or for professionals with LG UltraFine monitors, the South Korean manufacturer is unleashing its expertise in all image sectors.

LG UltraGear OLED: new 21:9 curved screens for gamers
Designed for gaming, the new LG UltraGear OLED gamer displays offer a refresh rate of up to 240Hz for video games, and feature a minimum response time of 0.03 ms for maximum responsiveness. Support for AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and Nvidia G-Sync Compatible ensures a smooth, tearing-free picture at all times.

In addition to excellent performance, these gamer displays feature ultra-wide OLED panels, covering 98.5% of the DCI-P3 color space, with HDR support. To guarantee high contrast, they are also VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certified. Thanks to their UWQHD (3440 x 1440 pixels) definition in 21:9 format, these gaming screens also offer a very large workspace, enabling several windows to be displayed side by side. The 800R curvature adapts perfectly to human vision, reducing eyestrain and glare, while enhancing immersion in video games and films.
Versatile, they’re perfect for gaming, and their color accuracy means they can also be used for graphic design, photo editing and video editing. Whether it’s for content creation or discerning gamers (or both), LG hits the nail on the head with this well-thought-out range, which includes the 34-inch (86cm) LG UltraGear OLED 34GS95QE-B,the 39-inch (99cm) LG UltraGear OLED 39GS95QE-B, and the extra-large 45-inch (113cm) LG UltraGear OLED 45GS95QE-B..

LG UltraGear OLED 32GS95UE-B: the Dual-Mode revolution
The 32-inch (81cm) LG UltraGear OLED 32GS95UE-B features all the technical specifications of this new range of OLED gaming displays, with refresh rates of up to 240Hz, response times of 0.03 ms and support for AMD FreeSync and Nvidia G-Sync Compatible. Like its counterparts, it also covers 98.5% of the DCI-P3 color space. What sets it apart, however, is its 4K UHD definition in 16:9 format.

While BenQ had already impressed with its Zowie XL2586X model, clocked at 540Hz, LG now presents a new, innovative concept: Dual-Mode. It offers the possibility of doubling the refresh rate and can reach 480Hz in Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels). VESA AdaptiveSync-certified, this screen is extremely versatile for gaming. It’s possible to enjoy the graphics of single-player and narrative games in 4K UHD, and to switch to Full HD mode at 480Hz on competitive titles.

LG MyView Smart Monitor: PC and Smart TV monitors
Among LG’s new releases is the MyView Smart Monitor range, offering a concept halfway between the Smart TV and PC monitor. These screens can accommodate a computer or games console thanks to the HDMI ports available on all models, while also offering Smart TV features. In fact, this range of monitors integrates WebOS, providing access to most VOD and music listening apps. What’s more, LG MyView Smart Monitors also feature the ThinQ interface, which enables control of the home’s smart devices and ensures compatibility with HomeKit accessories. As a result, it can become the center of your home automation operations.
The 27″ (68.6cm) LG MyView Smart Monitor 27SR50F-W and 31.5″ (80cm) LG MyView Smart Monitor 32SR50F-W offer Full HD definition (1920 x 1080 pixels) and cover 99% of the sRGB color space. The IPS panel makes them ideal for office work, web design and photo editing. With a refresh rate of up to 60Hz and a response time of just 5 ms, these smart monitors can also accommodate a games console such as the Nintendo Switch thanks to the two HDMI ports.

The flagship of LG’s MyView Smart Monitor range, the 32″ (81cm) LG MyView Smart Monitor 32SQ700S-W features a VA panel for 4K UHD (3840 x 2160 pixels) image display. New LG UltraFine professional monitors
Also fresh on the market, the LG UltraFine range welcomes two newcomers: a 27″ (68cm) LG UltraFine 27UQ850V-W and a 32″ (81cm) LG UltraFine 32UQ850V-W. Designed for image professionals, these screens are recommended for graphic designers, photographers, video editors and all visual work. With two HDMI ports and one DisplayPort, they can accommodate PCs and game consoles. The USB-C port also makes it easy to connect a laptop. What’s more, a USB hub provides access to two USB 3.0 ports directly on the monitor for connecting peripherals such as a mouse and keyboard.
These new LG UltraFine screens can also pivot. They can now be used vertically for reading long documents or for programming. Used as a primary or secondary display, UltraFine monitors offer greater color accuracy and higher-contrast images. Ideal for professional use, they also allow you to enjoy entertainment in excellent conditions.

LG is continuing its efforts to improve its OLED gaming range, with monitors offering precise, high-contrast colors and impressive performance, thanks in particular to Dual Mode, which enables very high refresh rates. The brand-new MyView Smart Monitor range, meanwhile, competes directly with Samsung Smart Monitors (such as the M8), with a much more affordable catalog geared towards remote working and entertainment. Last but not least, the LG UltraFine range is expanding, with monitors that are even more precise and detailed than previous generations. Whether it’s for gaming, professional or purely entertainment use, the South Korean manufacturer is sure to win you over with these new monitors.
