Renowned Italian manufacturer Sonus Faber has updated the legendary Sonetto range with the new Sonus Faber Sonetto G2 series. This second generation of a multi-award-winning line promises even better performance, inheriting the technologies introduced with the ultimate Sonus Faber Suprema speaker.
Sonus Faber Sonetto G2: an iconic range
Launched in 2018, the Sonus Faber Sonetto speaker range has established itself as the Italian manufacturer’s most popular, thanks to its excellent hi-fi and home theater acoustic performance, as well as a luxurious design that only the brand holds the secret to. For this second generation, the manufacturer continues to use premium materials, with a real wood finish and leather covering around the drivers. The lute-like shape of the previous generation now has a more curved profile and rests on a new, innovative concrete support to ensure optimum decoupling from the ground. Sonus Faber Sonetto G2: a rich heritage
To perfect the already highly accomplished Sonus Sonetto speakers, the Italian manufacturer turned to the innovations and technologies used on its masterpiece: the Sonus Faber Suprema. The midbass drivers and woofers feature paper pulp cones and a motif inspired by the camellia flower. This distinctive shape reduces interference and improves sound dispersion. On the three-way models, the midrange driver is distinguished by its untreated white color, ensuring a purer, more natural reproduction. At its center is an aluminum phase plug to maximize diffusion while limiting distortion. These drivers vary in number and size depending on the speaker:

With its 1.1″ soft silk dome, this model has made the brand famous with its excellent linearity, great sense of detail and ability to maintain a smooth, controlled listening experience at all times. Here, it can be used up to 40kHz, maximizing the harmonic palette. To make the most of these drivers, all Sonus Faber Sonetto G2 speakers feature a high-quality crossover and a double pair of terminals for bi-wiring and bi-amping.
