Having had the previous model, the difference is mind-boggling! Coupled with a Sony TV in the center channel, the results are incredible with the subwoofer (which I was able to keep thanks to its compatibility with the old and new systems). You’re really in a sound bubble, and the Sony app for setting up the system is just perfect!

Tested on a 4K projector, a 7.2.4 system and a 2.70m screen, it’s simply incredible, with total immersion. Tested on an LG C3 TV and a Polk Magnifi max soundbar, it’s great, the picture quality is very good. The reason I bought this player is because of the “Trailer” feature. I think it’s just great: an Atmos or DTS-X demo before the film, I think it’s more cinematic, it was already a great feature on Zappiti.

You have to be aware that this type of device, despite the 2 drivers, is still similar to a radio, and won’t provide immersion like a good hi-fi system with separate speakers. But if you accept this limitation, the sound is excellent: beautiful timbres, texture, good definition and good balance. The sound is pleasant and not tiring.

I use this subwoofer in hifi to support my speakers at the lower end of the spectrum. After a lot of trial and error to place it and adjust it correctly (level and crossover frequency), it’s perfect. Whether it’s with blues (wow! the bass of tin pan alley!) or baroque music (wow! the double bass of a Handel aria!), it’s a real plus…

The LS60s are for those who don’t want to bother with old-fashioned systems… And who want to save space. The turntable is completely manual, with 2 speeds to choose from (45 and 33 rpm), and by changing the belt, you can listen to 78 rpm records. The tonearm is elegant and made of very light carbon, and the Ortofon Red cartridge is a good one – I think, as I’m not a total audiophile. The whole thing is quite modern. The sound is perfect for me. The turntable is pleasant to handle.

From the very first listening session, I was overwhelmed by the quality of the sound: you have the impression of wearing high-end headphones, not just earphones. I noticed very good spatialization/separation of instruments, very well rendered vocals, incredibly realistic plucking of strings and, of course, breathtaking bass; in this respect, the original setting is perfectly balanced and will suit most people, while others can adjust the equalizers in the app (very well designed and intuitive).

An excellent TV! After much hesitation between this S95D and the A95L, I finally chose the latter for its “all-terrain” panel and its very competitive price in the category… I highly recommend color calibration with a smartphone (bravo Samsung for this feature), the result is amazing for those who are after the most realistic colors possible (which is my case). The matte panel is simply brilliant! Especially if your living room is very bright (I’ve got bay windows on all sides…) […] And for cinema fans like me, in the dark (even partial), the depth of the blacks is, in my opinion, as good as on a classic glossy panel.

Once broken in, these headphones sound incredible. They are really surprising in terms of sound quality and comfort. Admittedly, there was never a “wow” effect, but with the break-in, I really began to appreciate these headphones, which have many qualities. […] For open-type headphones, I find the mid-bass precision relatively surprising. It’s punchy and precise at the same time. Overall, the character remains warm and very lightly colored.
