Beyerdynamic celebrates 100 years with new headphones and earbuds
Let’s start with Beyerdynamic’s latest Bluetooth headphones, the Aventho 300. Designed to deliver a rich, detailed sound experience, they feature the brand’s dynamic STELLAR.45 transducers. These transducers are designed in Germany and have already been tried and tested in the DT 700 Pro X and DT 900 Pro X models. For added immersion, they incorporate Dolby Head Tracking technology, offering immersive spatial sound that adapts to the listener’s head movements.
What’s more, the Beyerdynamic Aventho 300 are equipped with two Sony chips for noise cancellation and a transparency mode, a tailored listening experience with or without surrounding noises. Equipped with Bluetooth 5.4, they support the latest high-resolution audio codecs, including AAC, LE Audio, aptX Adaptive and aptX Lossless. A 3.5mm analog audio jack is also present for wired listening. Last but not least, they boast a battery life of up to 50 hours, and a 10-minute quick charge offers around 5 hours of use.
The new Beyerdynamic Aventho 300 headphones are due to go on sale in the USA at the end of the year, before arriving in France.
Beyerdynamic Amiron 300 True Wireless earbuds
Beyerdynamic also unveiled its Beyerdynamic Amiron 300 True Wireless earbuds at IFA 2024, combining the brand’s iconic studio sound with a lightweight, compact design. Equipped with 10mm dynamic transducers, they guarantee deep bass, precise mids and clear highs. The six built-in microphones, combined with customizable active noise cancelling, guarantee clear calls and optimum sound immersion, even in noisy environments. Finally, they boast a total battery life of 38 hours, an ergonomic design and Bluetooth 5.3 multipoint connectivity.
The Beyerdynamic Amiron 300 wireless earbuds will be available in Q4 for $279.99.
Wireless sound with AKG
AKG was back in the spotlight at IFA 2024 with two new Bluetooth devices: the AKG N9 Hybrid wireless headphones and the AKG N5 Hybrid True Wireless earbuds.
The AKG N9 Hybrid headphones are a Bluetooth model featuring adaptive active noise cancelling, an advanced technology that automatically adjusts ANC thanks to six built-in microphones. This system analyzes ambient noise in real time to deliver a personalized sound experience, but can also be manually adjusted via the dedicated app. The headphones incorporate a 40mm dynamic liquid crystal polymer transducer, ensuring deep bass and clear highs. What’s more, they support AKG spatial audio, enabling any stereo music to be transformed into virtual surround sound.

The AKG N5 Hybrid earbuds share a number of features with the AKG N9 Hybrid. These include adaptive noise cancelling, spatial audio technology and USB-C 2.4GHz connectivity, in addition to Bluetooth. Featuring 10mm dynamic transducers with a diamond coating, these earbuds promise remarkable sound quality despite their compact size. IP54-certified, they are dust- and splash-resistant, making them suitable for sports and outdoor use. With a battery life of up to 40 hours, the AKG N5 Hybrid are an ideal option for music lovers and gamers alike.
The AKG N5 Hybrid earbuds will soon be available for €269, while the AKG N5 Hybrid Bluetooth headphones will retail at €349.
