Technics SC-CX700, an all-in-one hi-fi solution
The Japanese manufacturer decided to unveil its new hi-fi speakers at IFA. The Technics SC-CX700 feature a JENO amplification system offering 90 watts per speaker. As a result, each driver benefits from its own amplification module (35W for the tweeter and 55W for the midbass driver) to reduce interference in the signal transmission. This two-way coaxial model is equipped with a main 5.9” driver and a 0.8” tweeter at its center.
The Technics SC-CX700 active speakers aim to be ultra-versatile. They are equipped with an HDMI ARC input, an MM phono input, an optical input and a 3.5mm mini-jack AUX input, as well as two LAN ports and a USB-C input. As a result, they can be paired with a television and a turntable, but also a computer and a CD player. There’s also a subwoofer output, allowing you to add to your hi-fi or home theater system over time.
As for wireless streaming, the new Technics SC-CX700 speakers are WiFi, AirPlay 2, Chromecast and Bluetooth compatible. Regarding their design, the Dinamica coating is made of soft microfibers resembling suede. This elegant finish adds real charm to the speakers. Soon available on Son-Vidéo.com for €2,499 per pair, the Technics SC-CX700 come in three colors: black, gray and terracotta.
