There’s a real sports car engine under the hood!! What refined details, I was very dubious about listening to a device equipped with 4 converters. I thought I’d get a hyper-aggressive sound, but that’s not the case at all. This player is all about smoothness… An iron fist in a velvet glove! A very precise sound, of course, but very soft and mellow, absolutely not aggressive! […] I give it a well-deserved 5 stars.

With the unbalanced connection, the difference [with the FiiO K5 Pro 5] isn’t immediately obvious. But with the balanced connection, it was as if something was switched on inside my headphones! Naturally, the HD660S’s sound signature remained the same, but there was more dynamism and the soundstage was broader, even at low volume. The sound is both smooth and dynamic, so it’s never tiring and always a pleasure to listen to!

It was really as if I had a home theater in my ears. We could feel the vibration of the bass, the dialogue was clear. The left/right effects were precise. […] I also tried them for hi-fi and they were really great. Again, the bass was precise and pronounced, I could hear all the details of the instruments and was able to rediscover the music. There were details that I didn’t hear before. I can’t recommend these headphones highly enough.

What a surprise!! The installation was really easy and, thanks to the included mic, the autoconfiguration was quick and pretty effective. […] Wow, what a difference compared to my Yamaha, what detail, clear, transparent sounds. The rear surround effects were great, almost lifelike, without ever compromising the quality of the voices coming from the front speakers, resulting in clear, comprehensible speech and dialogue. There were movie scenes where I rediscovered the audio “environment”. I noticed, thanks to the sound, that it was raining outside during the scene. The immersion is incredible now that the sound completely envelops us.

We’d already been blown away by the Oberon 1 speakers, which have incredible musicality, but the Oberon 3s go even further: they add significant support to the low end of the spectrum. These Oberon 3s are lively, well-balanced speakers with a beautiful soundstage. They pack a punch without being tiring. All musical styles are reproduced with excellent balance and incredible precision. They can compete with and even outperform many more expensive floorstanding speakers.
