EverSolo continues to build on its success with the arrival of the new DMP-A10 streamer, the flagship of its range. Following the resounding success of the DMP-A6, DMP-A6 Master Edition and more recently the DMP-A8, the Asian manufacturer is once again pushing the limits of performance. Presented as a world exclusive at the Paris Audio Video Show 2024, the EverSolo DMP-A10 may well set new standards, including advanced acoustic calibration per microphone.

The king of streamers

Few manufacturers are able to innovate and shake up a market as quickly as EverSolo. In just over a year, the Asian brand has established itself as a leader in the world of audio network players, with its best-selling EverSolo DMP-A6 and EverSolo DMP-A6 Master Edition, as well as the top-of-the-range EverSolo DMP-A8. The key to these successes lies in a few simple elements: a large touchscreen with unprecedented responsiveness for a hi-fi device, full support for streaming services and a polished app.

The new EverSolo DMP-A10 follows the same formula in an even more accomplished, high-performance package to establish itself as the brand’s ultimate streamer. The large 6.5″ touchscreen is now accompanied by a second display located directly in the center of the volume knob.

In addition to its large, easy-to-navigate 6.5″ touchscreen, which can also display a spectrometer or VU meter, the EverSolo DMP-A10 adds a second display in the volume knob for displaying cover art or output levels.

New DAC and balanced pre-amplifier

To further enhance musicality, the EverSolo DMP-A10 network player incorporates a new 32-bit/768kHz and DSD512 compatible ESS Sabre ES9039PRO DAC. The latter is combined with a dual oscillator with EverSolo-optimized temperature management for perfectly stable performance. The preamplification stage is based on an analog design with a fully balanced architecture. Volume management is performed passively with R2R circuitry, while isolation of the various circuits and the dual power supplies limit interference. On paper, the result is outstanding performance, as shown by the specifications and measurements available on the EverSolo DMP-A10 product page.

Thanks to a latest-generation ESS DAC and dual precision clocks, the EverSolo DMP-A10 streamer is guaranteed to reveal every nuance of Hi-Res tracks up to 32-bit/768kHz and DSD512.

Acoustic calibration by microphone

The EverSolo DMP-A10 streamer is the first EverSolo model to feature an acoustic calibration system. The latter uses a USB microphone (not included), or the microphone of a smartphone compatible with the EverSolo app, to take acoustic measurements of the listening room and speakers in order to optimize their operation and correct any flaws. This tool complements the numerous equalization functions and filters we have already praised in our EverSolo DMP-A8 review.

Designed for every need

Based on the same proprietary OS as the DMP-A8, the EverSolo DMP-A10 network player offers countless streaming options, with direct access to the majority of online music platforms such as Spotify, Deezer, Tidal, Qobuz, and even Apple Music. It can also receive music via AirPlay 2, Bluetooth, DLNA or Roon. Thanks to its DAC and preamplifier functions, it can also be connected to numerous sources, including a computer via USB and a TV via HDMI ARC. A new feature of this model is a dual subwoofer output with independent filtering and gain control, making it easy to connect several subs.

In addition to its countless network features, the EverSolo DMP-A10 streamer integrates a comprehensive range of connectors for easy pairing with all digital and analog sources.

The price of excellence

The new EverSolo DMP-A10 network player is now available to pre-order on Son-Vidéo.com for €3,890. This price is justified by the versatility of this model, which combines a full streamer, an Audio DAC with HDMI ARC input and a true audiophile preamplifier in a single device. This model promises to quickly become a benchmark in its category, competing with the flagship Atoll ST300 Signature, Rose RS250A and the new Cambridge Audio EXN100, and will be reviewed on this blog shortly.
