Speaker specialist Klipsch has teamed up with American artist Devon Turnbull, aka Ojas, for its latest acoustic creation: the Klipsch Ojas speaker. Limited to just 100 units worldwide, this exclusive model incorporates a very large horn tweeter with gain control and an 11.8″ midbass driver, all in a magnificent vintage-style, hand-crafted cabinet.
1.7 inch tweeter with gain control
Located on top of the speaker, the very large acoustic horn forms the centerpiece of this acoustic masterpiece. This multicell aluminum model houses a very large 1.7″ titanium tweeter, guaranteeing excellent harmonic response. It is connected to the main cabinet by an attractive visible cable, underlining the handcrafted aspect of this speaker. To appeal to all users, the Klipsch Ojas speaker incorporates a potentiometer to adjust high frequency reproduction on five levels.

11.8 inch driver
The tweeter is accompanied by a very large midbass driver, 11.8″ in diameter, inherited from the legendary Klipsch Heresy IV. Just like the Heresy IV, its lightweight woven paper cone and surround with small pleats delivers deep, powerful bass with excellent control. In addition, the bass response is optimized by a bass-reflex enclosure with a laminar port that is built into the front of the speaker to facilitate placement in the room. As usual with the American brand, the Klipsch Ojas is highly sensitive (97.5 dB), making it easy to match with a wide range of amplifiers, even low-power tube models.

Handcrafted design
Entirely designed and assembled by hand in the American manufacturer’s Hope (Arkansas) workshops, the Klipsch Ojas speaker is a true demonstration of master craftsmanship. Its cabinet is made entirely from 13-ply Baltic birch plywood. This is covered with a real oak veneer or a gray lacquer coating, depending on the finish chosen. Each pair is meticulously identified and numbered with a laser-engraved metal plate on the side.

A collector’s item!
With only 100 units available worldwide, the Klipsch Ojas speaker is a true collectable, priced at €9,990.
