Following the resounding success of the Cayin Jazz 80 amp, the Asian manufacturer is raising the bar even higher with a more ambitious version: the Cayin Jazz 100. This model retains all the charm of its predecessor, including elegant VU meters and modern features such as an HD Bluetooth receiver. Equipped with new 805A tubes, it promises even greater musicality and 2 x 46W of pure class A power, enabling it to drive more generous speakers.

Iconic design

The Cayin Jazz 100 amplifier has the same iconic design as the Cayin Jazz 80 launched earlier this year. The chassis is made entirely of aluminum, available in black or silver. A special feature is a magnificent double VU meter in the center of the front panel. This can be used as a bias meter to facilitate tube tuning, or as a wattmeter to liven up listening sessions. Enhanced by orange backlighting, this detail gives the amp an irresistible vintage look.

The Cayin Jazz 100 amp features superb VU meters that can be used as wattmeters or bias meters.

805A tubes

While the Cayin Jazz 80 KT88 and Cayin Jazz EK34 were based on the amplification of the best-selling Cayin CS-55A KT88 and Cayin CS-55A EL34, the Cayin Jazz 100 uses a completely new architecture. The latter uses Mullard 6 JC6 and 6SN7 voltage tubes coupled to a 6L6 control stage, all serving 805A power tubes. These exceptional tubes, already used by the brand on the Cayin CS-805A amp, are renowned for their warm, mellow character and extremely rich harmonics. Operating in pure class A, they enable the Cayin Jazz 100 amp to develop a high power output of 2 x 46W over a wide bandwidth.

Thanks to its 805A tubes, the Cayin Jazz 100 amp promises to deliver a comfortable 2 x 46W with warmth, naturalness and unique musicality.

A modern tube amp

Like the Jazz 80, the Cayin Jazz 100 features a Bluetooth 5.0 controller. This makes it easy to listen to music streamed wirelessly from a smartphone, tablet or computer. Thanks to HD codecs, it’s possible to enjoy high-quality sound, while aptX Low Latency reduces latency and avoids any lag between sound and image. The signal is then sent to an ES9018K2M DAC for high-quality conversion. In addition, the Cayin Jazz 100 amplifier features three RCA inputs for connecting various sources (turntable preamplifier, CD player, network player, etc.), plus two subwoofer outputs!

In addition to its three RCA inputs, the Cayin Jazz 100 tube amp features an HD Bluetooth receiver for easy wireless music listening.

The new Cayin Jazz 100 tube amp is now available to pre-order on Son-Vidéo.com, priced at €3,990 in black and silver. We’ll be testing it on this blog in early 2025.
