At CES 2025, Denon, which has just joined the Audio Foundry group, announced the launch of a revolutionary car audio system. Comprising 22 speakers, it is compatible with the Dirac automatic configuration system to calibrate music according to the vehicle interior.

The synergy of the Audio Foundry group
By joining Audio Foundry, Denon intends to benefit from the group’s synergy. Indeed, this consortium already includes numerous technological players such as Dirac, Sonified and Tymphany. Deployed for several years now, notably in Denon AV receivers, Dirac’s automatic calibration enables speakers to be adapted to the characteristics of the room.
A demonstration at CES 2025
At CES 2025, Denon and Dirac presented a joint solution for vehicle audio. During the show, a Tesla Model Y was equipped with 22 drivers to show visitors the immersive, personalized audio experience offered by this collaboration.

Denon’s new car audio system overcomes the acoustic challenges of the car interior. Dirac technology enables the 22 drivers to work in unison, eliminating interference and distortion. What’s more, this multi-channel system is Dolby Atmos compatible! The result is a sound experience that’s not only more immersive, but also clearer and more detailed.
This first collaboration between Denon and Dirac in the car audio sector highlights the Japanese firm’s intention to branch out. The company is now keen to export its expertise to new markets, with the support of Audio Foundry’s other brands.
