Following the launch of the EverSolo DMP-A6 Gen 2 last week, the Master version has now been upgraded in the form of the all-new EverSolo DMP-A6 Master Edition Gen 2. Like the classic version, this 2025 edition features the new low-noise linear power supply, combined with a more precise jitter reduction system for even greater performance.
Low-noise power supply
The EverSolo DMP-A6 Master Edition Gen 2 streamer features the manufacturer’s latest low-noise linear power supply, also integrated into the new EverSolo DMP-A6 Gen 2 presented just a few days ago. It provides cleaner, more stable power to the various components, with the promise of even greater precision and a more detailed reproduction. The balanced architecture features a dual ESS ES9038 Q2M DAC that supports high-resolution formats up to 32-bit/768kHz, as well as DSD (up to DSD512) and MQA files. To make the most of these different formats, the EverSolo DMP-A6 Master Edition Gen 2 is distinguished from the standard version by a more precise jitter reduction circuit.

New silver finish
The EverSolo DMP-A6 Master Edition Gen 2 network player keeps the modern, award-winning design of its predecessor, while sporting a new aluminum finish. Its sturdy metal chassis continues to house the brand’s signature 6-inch (15cm) touchscreen. Running on an Android operating system, it enables the installation of major streaming services, such as Tidal, Qobuz, HighRes Audio, Amazon Music, Spotify, Deezer, Napster, and many others. In addition, this network player supports streaming via DLNA, Roon and Bluetooth, extending its connection and usage possibilities.

Integrated HDMI ARC
The EverSolo DMP-A6 Master Edition Gen 2’s range of connectors is identical to the new EverSolo DMP-A6 Gen 2, with the introduction of an HDMI ARC port for simplified connection to a TV. A trigger output also makes its appearance, enabling an amplifier or power amp to be switched on or off automatically. There are coaxial and optical inputs, as well as two USB-A ports. The latter allow you to connect an external storage device, but also a USB CD player, ideal to easily rip a record collection. Last but not least, the RCA and XLR outputs can be configured as fixed or variable levels, so you can use the streamer as a source or preamplifier.

Price and availability
The new EverSolo DMP-A6 Master Edition Gen 2 network player is now available to pre-order on Son-Vidéo.com for €1,290, the same launch price as the previous model. First deliveries are scheduled for late January 2025, alongside those of the EverSolo DMP-A6 Gen 2, also available to pre-order at the attractive price of €890.
