Cercle Odyssey: 360° immersive audiovisual concerts

What’s the concept behind Cercle Odyssey, the organizer of unique audiovisual experiences around the world? In concrete terms, it’s an organization that sees each concert as a living art piece, promising a captivating 360° experience. To achieve this, videos synchronized live with the music are projected onto the walls and ceiling. The visuals are intended to be universal, representing humanity and nature.

Guided by the creative vision of Neels Castillon, represented worldwide by Ridley Scott Creative Group, Cercle Odyssey’s cinematography captures emotional and poetic moments, exploring the deep connection between art and nature.

The audience, free to move around the central stage where a different artist performs each evening, also enjoys an immersive sound experience. Cercle Odyssey collaborates with Ircam Amplify’s Sound Experience team to enhance the live performances. As a result, spectators enjoy a closer connection with the music and the artists. Amplify’s three-dimensional sound technology promises an enveloping soundscape and precise sound, no matter where the audience is in the venue.

State-of-the-art equipment

To deliver an immersive, sensory audiovisual experience, Cercle Odyssey combines technological innovation with sustainable logistics. To cover the various venues around the world, the organization uses 2,300m² of 8K projection screens, combined with 72 L-Acoustics speakers arranged all around the 50-meter-long, 10-meter-high structure.

All sound, lighting and projector equipment is rented locally. By using projectors instead of LED screens, Cercle Odyssey aims to deliver stunning visual impact while limiting its carbon footprint, by eliminating the energy costs associated with transporting large LED screens from one city to another. Indeed, the Cercle Odyssey experience is exported all over the world, from Mexico City to Paris, via Los Angeles.

From May 28 to June 1, 2025, Cercle Odyssey is stopping in France, at the Paris Expo at Porte de Versailles. The organizer has scheduled five dates, with German pianist Max Richter as curtain raiser. While the rest of the program remains secret for the moment, we do know that the last concert, which is already sold out, will be hosted by electronic music artist Monolink.
