Klipsch PIC, optimized for professional projects
The new Klipsch PIC range is designed primarily for professionals. This series of five speakers and one subwoofer is both powerful and durable. All Klipsch PIC models are IPX5 certified. This means that the speakers can be used in humid environments, such as covered patios, swimming pools and changing rooms. “Thanks to its IPX protection, the PIC series offers durability and reliability, while SkyHook Pro technology makes installation quick and easy,” says Fabien de Brem, Director at Klipsch France.
The Klipsch PIC range includes several driver formats: 11.4cm, 13.3cm, 16.5cm and 20.3cm (4.5″, 5″, 6.5″ and 8″) to meet all requirements for various public spaces (hotels, bars, restaurants, etc.). A compact version with a 13.3cm (5.25″) driver is also available, with a shallow mounting depth of just 10.16cm (4″) for shallow ceilings and partitions.
Klipsch technologies
Each model in the Klipsch PIC range is equipped with a Tractrix hyperfold port, a proprietary technology from the American brand. It is designed to optimize bass power and eliminate unwanted noise, while widening dispersion for broader sound coverage.
The 1″ titanium compression tweeter is mounted on a horn that’s decoupled from the midbass driver. This assembly improves sound diffusion, ensuring a more uniform perception of music.
The latest generation of Swarm’s SkyHook Pro technology provides a tool-free installation system that guarantees fast, secure ceiling mounting. Phoenix connectors offer easy, intuitive pre-wiring connections. Together, these innovations significantly reduce speaker installation time. Note that each model in the Klipsch PIC range comes with two ready-to-paint, round magnetic grilles. Available in black or white, they can be discreetly integrated into the ceiling to respect the harmony and decor of the space.
