Leica Cine Play 1 projector

The Leica Cine Play 1 combines ultra-precise 4K triple laser projection with an integrated Smart TV system for an immersive cinema experience at home.
  • Ultra HD 4K image quality
  • Triple laser for vivid colors
  • HDR and Dolby Vision compatibility
  • Low-latency gaming mode
  • Integrated DTS Virtual:X audio system
  • Extended connectivity with WiFi 6e
  • Price: €3,490

Honestly, it fulfills all its promises without compromise. I use it on a matte white wall and it offers incredible contrast and definition. I think that without a screen, it works well with controlled lighting in the room, otherwise (in my living room, I still used a 4.5 m ALR screen) you need to use a screen suited to your room and to the Leica.

Very good overall product quality. Connectivity is also excellent. Settings are both simple and comprehensive. Sound quality is really excellent for music and video. Basic calibration is good and simple. Dirac Live calibration is simply incredible, but rather tricky to implement. I have a 7.4.4 installation with 4 subwoofers: the result is simply amazing.

Mini RF7s, that’s what they remind me of and I know what I’m talking about, I had a pair of RF7 MK2s that I parted with, because they were too big and I wanted to tidy up my living room! I switched to some Cabasse Rialto that I never managed to get into, and finally bought myself this pair of The Nines. What joy: the sound is incredible, far superior to the Rialto and much less expensive! […] So I had to connect them via RCA, but the result is really incredible. There’s nothing they can’t handle, even classical music sounds great. The horn reproduces an enormous amount of detail, and the low frequencies are very punchy. Rock music is a real blast, and even my son gave them a thumbs-up for rap.

It’s simple, very well finished, with quality hardware and materials. I tried it with a CD player, a DAP and the WiiM Pro network player. The result is fantastic with the DT 770 PRO, it only improves the sound of the headphones, even at low volume. Everything is highly detailed with this amp, the sound is balanced, with just the right amount of bass without being overpowering, and well-detailed mids and highs.

I’m a music lover and a big consumer of all styles (jazz, blues, rock, metal…) After a month of listening, I’m very satisfied with these earbuds. Most importantly: the sound is good, with balanced bass and treble (a gap compared to my old Bose earbuds). And above all, in addition to the classic equalizer, the app offers a module for customizing the sound with several tests, wwhich provide excellent results! Exactly what we like: personalized sound! Bravo ! […] They’re very good value for money! I recommend them!

Hana EH cartridge

The Hana EH MC cartridge combines precision and musicality with Japanese craftsmanship and high-quality components.
  • High-level MC cartridge – 1/2″ mount
  • Stylus: synthetic elliptical
  • Cantilever: aluminum
  • Output level: 2mV/1kHz
  • Frequency response: 15–25,000Hz
  • Coil impedance: 130 ohms/1kHz
  • Price: €449

See the Hana EH MC cartridge on Son-Vidéo.com

I installed this Hana on my Denon DP60, replacing an older-generation Sumiko Oyster. […] As far as sound is concerned, the Hana EH is exceptional. The entire spectrum is reproduced with flawless cohesion, speed and precision. Simultaneously comparing it with digital versions (FLAC) of the same music revealed a widening of the soundstage, greater aeration and a precision in the micro details that is quite astounding. Finally, in terms of vinyl playback capacity, I tested it with jazz recordings from TBM (Three Blind Mice); certainly the most complicated records for a cartridge to play. It passed the test with flying colors. Whether it was the transients of the piano’s high-pitched attacks, or the bass drum hits, there was no drop-out or unwanted murmur. Impressive playback capabilities.

Davis Acoustics Mani MKII floorstanding speakers

The Davis Acoustics Mani MKII floorstanding speakers combine precision and power, offering faithful reproduction in both hi-fi and home theater.
  • 3-way speaker
  • Bass-reflex enclosure
  • Power handling: 100W RMS (150W peak)
  • Sensitivity: 92 dB
  • Frequency response: 40Hz to 20kHz
  • Impedance: 8 ohms nominal (4 ohms minimum)
  • Price: €549

Everything seems balanced, with no particular range either emphasized or receded. The dynamic behavior is an area in which I expected the Mani MK2s to perform well, and the dynamics are very reactive and lively, with a slight tendency towards projection that is by no means prohibitive. I’m fully satisfied with the timbres of voices, strings and woodwinds: they’re natural, with no sophistication that could be construed as coloration. Finally, the sonic image is superb, broad and deep, with good aeration, and the atmospheres of the recording locations, including discreet reverberations, are perfectly audible. The Mani MK2 isn’t a perfect speaker, but for the price, it’s excellent value for money.

TCL 65C855 television

The TCL 65C855 is an ultra-high-performance 4K Mini-LED TV, guaranteeing vivid images with rich, intense colors, for home theater as well as gaming.
  • Quantum Dot Pro and 6th generation mini LED
  • Gaming: 144Hz 4K VRR, FreeSync Premium Pro
  • Dolby Vision IQ, HDR10+
  • 2.1.2-channel sound (60 watts), Dolby Atmos, DTS Virtual-X
  • Google TV, Netflix, Disney+, Apple TV+, Prime Video
  • Price: €1,390

Top-notch picture, that’s bright with high contrast. Very good sound too. I no longer need to turn on my Denon receiver. Getting to grips with the TV is easy, all you have to do is let yourself be guided by the OSD. Thankfully, because the instruction manual is very brief. I recommend this TV and hope it lasts as long as the Pana.
