Onkyo has unveiled its first range of wireless speakers with the new Creator Series. With the flagship Onkyo GX-30ARC and Onkyo GX-10DB models, this series combines compactness and versatility to fit easily into any space in the home. Thanks to their advanced connectivity, they adapt to multiple sources, including a TV through HDMI ARC and a computer via USB-C.
Compact, discreet speakers
Announced at CES 2025, the Creator Series marks Onkyo’s return to the active speaker market. This range aims to offer high-performance, versatile audio solutions, tailored to the needs of music lovers who enjoy digital music. The two models in the series stand out for their compact, elegant design, measuring 146 x 220 x 170mm for the Onkyo GX-30ARC and 119 x 149 x 170mm for the Onkyo GX-10DB. The manufacturer is therefore offering discreet solutions capable of fitting easily into any space in the home, whether alongside the TV, on a desk or in a bookcase.
Connectivity and features
The Onkyo GX-30ARC and GX-10DB speakers offer comprehensive, modern connectivity. Both incorporate a Bluetooth 5.3 receiver for easy music playback from a smartphone or tablet, for example. In addition to Bluetooth, these speakers are equipped with a USB-C input, enabling direct connection to a computer. Onkyo has also added an optical input on both models for a CD player or network player, for example. The Onkyo GX-30ARC speaker goes even further, offering a 3.5mm mini-jack input and an HDMI ARC input to connect a TV. Finally, a subwoofer output is integrated on both speaker models.
Power tailored to each speaker
With the Creator Series, the Japanese brand draws on decades of innovation and audio engineering to offer compact yet musical active speakers. First and foremost, the speakers are equipped with a class D bi-amplification system. This technology separates the amplification of the midbass drivers from that of the tweeter, ensuring better dynamics and minimal distortion. The Onkyo GX-30ARC model boasts 2 x 50W of power, while the Onkyo GX-10DB offers 2 x 34W, enough for listening sessions in an office or small living room.

The two models are also distinguished by their midbass driver. The Onkyo GX-10DB features a 3.5″ transducer, while the Onkyo GX-30ARC benefits from a wider 4″ model, offering deeper, more generous bass. For the highs, each speaker incorporates a 0.8″ dome tweeter, guaranteeing accurate reproduction up to 22kHz.

The Onkyo GX-10DB and GX-30ARC speakers are now available to pre-order on Son-Vidéo.com for delivery in Q2 2025. Prices are as follows:
