JBL has announced a new generation of portable Bluetooth speakers. The JBL Flip 7 breaks new ground in terms of autonomy, robustness and amplification power. To meet the needs of music lovers, this latest nomad speaker comes with a removable strap and carabiner.
Bluetooth 5.4 Auracast
Among the new features of the JBL Flip 7 is the integration of the Bluetooth 5.4 Auracast module for wireless stereo daisy-chaining. Auracast technology also enables multiple speakers to be paired, multiplying the points of diffusion and providing sound in a larger space. The sound is then be broadcast in mono. Accessible in a matter of seconds via a dedicated button on the JBL Flip 7, this feature underlines the practicality of this compact, high-performance speaker.
JBL Flip 7, a true nomad
TheJBL Flip 7 portable speaker also introduces an innovative PushLock attachment system, enabling the attachment accessories to be interchanged. This new JBL speaker comes with a removable strap and carabiner. This adaptive system makes it easy to attach to a bike or bag when you’re on the move. What’s more, IP68 certification, superior to the IP67 of the previous generation, enhances water and dust resistance, making it an ideal choice for outdoor use.
More power, more endurance
In terms of audio performance, the JBL Flip 7 is based on the proven acoustic architecture of the Flip 6. It is equipped with a 45 x 80mm full-range driver and a 16mm tweeter supported by two passive radiators, ensuring dynamic bass. Total power now reaches 35 watts (25W for the main driver and 10W for the tweeter), 5 watts more than the previous generation. Battery life has also been extended, promising 14 hours of continuous listening, with a further 2 hours when the Playtime Boost mode is activated.
With this new generation, JBL improves an already acclaimed speaker by enhancing its durability, ergonomics and connectivity. The addition of Bluetooth 5.4 Auracast, an IP68 certification and an improved battery make it a relevant choice for outdoor music lovers. Available in seven colors (black, blue, white, red, camouflage, pink and purple), the JBL Flip 7 will be available from April 1 at a price of 149.99 euros.
