After winning over music lovers and the press with its WiiM Amp and WiiM Amp Pro connected amplifiers, the American manufacturer returns with a streamlined, super-powered version: the WiiM VibeLink Amp. Devoid of a network module, but as compact as ever, this amplifier relies on superior power to drive all types of speakers with authority.

Superior power

Despite its discreet appearance, the WiiM VibeLink Amp incorporates a new amplification system consisting of Texas Instruments TPA3255 modules combined with six TI OPA1612 op amps. The result is a very high power output of 2 x 100W into 8 ohms and 2 x 200W into 4 ohms, surpassing the 2x60W of the WiiM Amp and Amp Pro. This power is developed with an extremely low distortion of 0.0005% and a signal-to-noise ratio of 120 dB, guaranteeing an accurate, detailed reproduction.

To guarantee this exemplary musicality, WiiM incorporates an advanced feedback technology called PFFB (Post Filter Feedback). This adapts the amplifier’s behavior in real time to variations in speaker load, where traditional amplifiers can lose precision. This results in a wider soundstage, better-defined details, as well as a more stable and faithful sound reproduction, even with speakers that are difficult to drive.

With its high power output of 2 x 100W into 8 ohms and its feedback technology, the WiiM VibeLink Amp can power many speakers for a precise, musical listening experience.

ESS DAC and Hi-Res compatibility

Slightly more streamlined than the WiiM Amp and Pro, the WiiM VibeLink Amp features RCA, optical and coaxial inputs, so you can connect a preamplified turntable, a network player or a CD player, for example. The digital inputs are linked to an ESS 9039Q2M DAC, capable of decoding files up to 24-bit/192kHz. This means you can take full advantage of HD streaming services or locally stored Hi-Res files when combined with an external streamer. In this respect, it would be ideal to pair it with the WiiM Ultra, with which it shares the same compact format.

Thanks to its RCA, optical and coaxial inputs, the WiiM VibeLink Amp can be easily combined with a wide range of sources, and supports Hi-Res streams up to 24-bit/192kHz.

Aluminum chassis and optimized cooling

The WiiM VibeLink Amp retains the compact format of its predecessors, measuring 20 x 20cm and with a thickness of 6cm. This makes it perfect for integration into any space. Inside its aluminum chassis, the WiiM VibeLink Amp benefits from optimized thermal management, with a copper tube snaking between components to channel heat to a large aluminum heatsink, ensuring efficient passive cooling. Even during prolonged listening sessions at high volume, the amp remains stable and perfectly silent, without active ventilation.

With its compact size, minimalist styling and aluminum chassis, the WiiM VibeLink Amp makes a perfect duo with the WiiM Ultra streamer (top device).

With this new model, WiiM confirms its commitment to making hi-fi more accessible, combining cutting-edge technology, sound quality and compact design. The WiiM VibeLink Amp will appeal to music lovers looking for simplicity, as well as to discerning enthusiasts who want an amp that’s both musical and powerful. A real favorite for those who want to do away with bulky amplifiers, without sacrificing sound quality. This new model is now available to pre-order on Son-Vidéo.com at a price of €369.
