Marshall has unveiled the new generation of its acclaimed Kilburn portable Bluetooth speaker. More powerful, more robust and with greater autonomy, it also adopts a new internal architecture favoring 360° sound diffusion. Here’s an overview of the improvements made by the British manufacturer.

A big evolution for a legendary speaker
Marshall unveils the Kilburn III, the third generation of its famous Bluetooth speaker, with a clear promise: to push the limits of portable listening. While previous models have already won over fans of warm, powerful sound, this new version marks a turning point in terms of autonomy, acoustics and robustness. Of course, this latest iteration retains the manufacturer’s iconic design and elegant handle. However, its amplification power takes a quantum leap, rising from 38W to 90W.
Marshall Kilburn III: record-breaking battery life
First notable change: the Marshall Kilburn III boasts a battery life of over 50 hours. This is an impressive figure, especially as it doubles that of the Kilburn II. This means it can run for an entire weekend without being charging, making it an ideal choice for long listening sessions, whether indoors or out. Its USB port can also be used to recharge a telephone, transforming the speaker into a backup battery.

360° stereo sound
Marshall introduces a completely new acoustic design with True Stereophonic technology. This approach enables 360° sound diffusion, with no loss of clarity or distortion depending on the listening angle. The full-range drivers and optimized equalization of the Marshall Kilburn III deliver a precise balance of bass, mids and highs, even at high volume. The result: immersive sound, wherever the music lovers are located in relation to speaker.
Marshall Kilburn III: designed for mobility
In addition to its XXL battery life, the Marshall Kilburn III Bluetooth speaker is IP 54 certified. This rating attests to its resistance to dust and splashes. As a result, it’s equally at home on a balcony, in a bathroom or on the move. Its velvet-lined carrying handle, inspired by guitar straps, further enhances its practicality. Its design, faithful to Marshall’s aesthetic with its retro tactile buttons and neat trim, retains a strong visual identity without sacrificing discretion.

An unchanged sound philosophy
Despite its technical evolutions, Marshall remains true to its philosophy: a powerful, warm sound, tailor-made for rock and energetic music. “The Kilburn III is a small revolution in our product range, with a completely revised acoustic design,” explains Hanna Wallner, Product Manager at Marshall Speakers. This statement sums up the approach taken by the brand: improvement without alteration.
