Hisense U8Q TV range

Mini LED and QLED: a winning duo

The Hisense U8Q series combines Mini LED backlighting and a QLED panel to optimize brightness, contrast and color richness. Each model boasts a high peak brightness: 4,000 nits for the 55-inch model, 5,000 nits for the 65, 75 and 85-inch models. Added to this is a very high number of Local Dimming zones, proportional to screen size: 1,092 zones for the 55U8Q, 2,048 zones for the 65U8Q, 2,880 zones for the 75U8Q and up to 3,168 zones for the 85U8Q.

This new range follows on from the Hisense UXKQ series, whose display technologies it adopts and whose performance it pushes further. Higher brightness and a greater number of local dimming zones mean better control of light and an even more striking image.

All Hisense U8Q TVs are compatible with the main HDR formats (Dolby Vision IQ, HDR10+, HDR10, HLG), feature an anti-glare filter, an ambient light sensor and an automatic picture mode optimized by artificial intelligence. As a result, the picture remains optimal whatever the viewing conditions.

TVs designed for video games

With their 165Hz native panel (up to 288Hz in HSR mode) and support for HDMI 2.1 standards (ALLM, VRR, eARC), the Hisense U8Q series TVs are aimed directly at gamers. Ultra Gaming mode guarantees optimum responsiveness, with input lag measured at 13.5ms. FreeSync Premium Pro compatibility reduces image tearing and judder for a smooth, immersive experience, even on 4K games.

Integrated Atmos 4.1.2 audio system

One of the distinguishing features of the Hisense U8Q range is its integrated audio system, which is designed to be immersive without the need for separate equipment. Each TV is equipped with Dolby Atmos-compatible front, surround and vertical drivers, as well as an integrated woofer. The 4.1.2 sound configuration offers total power of up to 90W for the largest screen sizes (80W for the 55″), with advanced equalization as well as Dolby Audio and AC-4 compatibility.

The U8Q series TVs can also be combined with the Hisense HT Saturn wireless home theater system. In this configuration, the TV’s built-in drivers can work with those of home theater to enhance sound immersion. In particular, they reproduce the center channel, dedicated to dialogue.

A comprehensive connected interface

Based on the Vidaa U9 operating system, the U8Q series offers a smooth Smart TV experience, with access to numerous apps, integrated voice assistants (Alexa, Vidaa Voice), and wireless content sharing (AirPlay 2, DLNA, screen mirroring). Voice control via the remote control, direct access to certain apps, and an edge-to-edge design all contribute to ease of use and discreet integration into the living room.
