Home theater fans and those who enjoy watching movies outside can expect an ambitious new arrival: the Nebula X1 projector. Compact, quiet and resolutely modern, it uses triple laser technology to ensure a bright, colorful and precise picture. What does it actually offer in terms of performance and usability?

High fidelity projection and simple installation

The Nebula X1 is equipped with an RGB triple Laser Forge light source that delivers 3,500 ANSI lumens. It covers 100% of the Rec.2020 color space and has a color accuracy of Delta E < 2, to accurately reproduce content, including Dolby Vision and HDR10 formats. The image is created by a 0.47” DLP chip and a lens made up of 14 glass elements, including low-dispersion aspherical lenses that reduce distortion.

The projector automatically adjusts the size, the focus and the position of the image thanks to the IEA 5.0 system, with automatic keystone correction (±40° vertical, ±30° horizontal), making installation a lot easier. The motorized zoom (0.9:1 to 1.5:1) also lets you adapt the picture depending on the distance from the screen.
Practical design and connected features

With its built-in handle and compact format (6.2kg), the Nebula X1 can be easily carried. Its liquid cooling system reduces noise to 26dB, ensuring that it remains discreet, even inside the home. It is equipped with Google TV for direct access to the main streaming platforms such as Netflix and YouTube, as well as Google Assistant voice control. It is AirPlay and Chromecast compatible for streaming content from a smartphone. Two HDMI 2.1 ports (one eARC), a USB-A port, a USB-C port, an optical output, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth provide a wide range of connectivity options. The projector also supports 3D content (DLP Link) and provides smooth 60Hz display with low latency, suitable for video games.
Wireless surround sound and karaoke microphones!
The manufacturer offers a pack of accessories for the Nebula X1, including two wireless satellite speakers, two wireless microphones and a carrying case. Both speakers diffuse true surround sound over 4.1.2 channels and are easy to install, without any unsightly cables.

Summary
The Nebula X1 boasts a bright, precise 4K image, automatic installation, full connectivity and a portable format. This projector is designed for users looking for a versatile device that’s easy to use and is equally suitable for watching movies, playing games or streaming content. Now available for pre-order at €2,990, it combines compactness, performance and ease of use.
