The QLED TV specialist takes a new step into the world of home entertainment with the TCL Z100 wireless speaker. Dolby Atmos FlexConnect compatible, this model combines ease of installation, adaptability and immersive sound reproduction. The TCL Z100 speaker marks a turning point in the design of versatile home theater systems.

A Dolby Atmos speaker without cables or constraints
The result of a close collaboration between TCL and Dolby, the TCL Z100 speaker is a wireless model, designed to exclusively work in symbiosis with the latest generation of TCL Mini LED TVs (C6K, C7K, C8K, C9K and X11K). It requires no HDMI cable or external box, just a mains plug for power. Thanks to Dolby Atmos FlexConnect technology, the multi-channel system based on TCL Z100 speakers can be freely positioned in the room. The speakers can be installed asymmetrically and at different heights.
FlexConnect technology analyzes the configuration of the room and automatically adjusts the sound according to the position of the speakers and the user. This means you can enjoy three-dimensional audio without worrying about the layout of the room. It’s the TCL Z100 speakers that adapt to the living room or bedroom.

Simplified, adaptable installation
The TCL Z100 wireless home theater allows the use of 2 to 4 speakers, depending on your needs and the configuration of the room. Whichever combination you choose, the technology automatically adjusts the sound for coherent, enveloping immersion.
Each Z100 speaker can be moved or repositioned without compromising audio quality. Built-in auto-calibration automatically detects the position of each speaker and that of the listener, to adapt sound diffusion in real time. This flexibility is a direct response to common interior layout constraints.

TCL Z100: a versatile, high-performance solution
Each Z100 is equipped with four drivers, including a vertical channel inclined at 15° for an optimized reproduction of Dolby Atmos effects. The whole system delivers 170 watts of power (1.1.1 configuration) for a clear, dynamic reproduction of multichannel content.
Combining a compatible TCL TV with two TCL Z100 wireless speakers creates a 5.1.2 installation, while four speakers enable a 7.1.4 configuration. This modular approach makes it possible to design an upgradeable wireless home theater system, free from the limitations of an AVR and the need to run cables through the room.

For added versatility, the Z100 also works with Bluetooth, so it can be used as a stereo system to stream music from a smartphone or tablet. This mode does not support Dolby Atmos, but remains practical for everyday music listening sessions.
An improved user experience
With the Z100 speaker, TCL aims to simplify access to an immersive audio experience, without the usual constraints of speaker placement. “This technology gives everyone the possibility of recreating a truly immersive home theater experience at home, perfectly adapted to their interior and habits,” says Olivier Semenoux, TCL Europe Product Manager.
From Dolby’s point of view, the integration of FlexConnect into the TCL range is also seen as a turning point. “Users benefit from increased flexibility and adaptability in the design of their entertainment system,” says John Couling, Senior Vice President of Entertainment at Dolby Laboratories.
Summary
With the Z100, TCL inaugurates a new approach to home theater that combines wireless speakers, intelligent calibration and Dolby Atmos FlexConnect compatibility. This modular system, discreet and easy to install, is aimed at those seeking a high level of sound immersion without the complications of a traditional audio system. The TCL Z100 wireless speaker should be available in France from early July 2025.
