A new creative studio in Los Angeles

The new Apple Music studio in Los Angeles stands out for its size and its equipment designed for creation. The three-storey building, covering more than 1,400m², houses two radio studios featuring Spatial Audio technology for immersive recording and broadcasting. A 370m² stage is also available for live performances, multi-camera shoots, fan events and screenings.

In addition to recording and broadcasting facilities, the studio offers a number of complementary infrastructures. Artists and creators have access to a mixing room specifically equipped for Spatial Audio, a photo and social networking lab, an editing room, and a green room. Isolated booths also enable podcasters, songwriters and journalists to work or conduct interviews in complete confidentiality. Two corridors, called the “A-List Corridor” and the “Archive Corridor”, feature images and memories from Apple Music’s first 10 years, illustrating the importance placed on the service’s history.

A network of studios worldwide and in France

The new Los Angeles site completes Apple Music’s global network of studios. The company is developing creative hubs in several major cities, including New York, Berlin, Nashville, Tokyo and Paris. These spaces are designed as meeting points for all creative minds. Each studio plays a role in producing exclusive content, hosting shows or showcasing emerging or established talent.

The opening of a studio in Paris, on the Champs-Élysées, testifies to Apple’s particular interest in the French market and the local arts scene. Inaugurated in 2021, to mark Apple’s 40th anniversary in France, the studio hosts interviews for programs such as “LE CODE” with Mehdi Maïzi, and plans to soon welcome artists who will host their own programs. This location is part of an already rich history, as the brand now has 2,700 employees and 20 stores in France.
