What is Fast-HVA QD-Mini LED technology from TCL CSOT?
TCL CSOT (China Star Optoelectronics Technology) is the specialized branch of the TCL Group in the design and manufacture of LCD and Mini LED panels, for both TVs and monitors. Today, it is estimated that one in three monitors sold worldwide is equipped with a panel manufactured by TCL CSOT, proof of the company’s internationally recognized expertise.
HVA (Horizontal Vertical Alignment) technology, created by TCL CSOT, is an evolution of classic VA. It uses a thin polymer layer to stabilize the alignment of the liquid crystals. In concrete terms, this provides much greater contrast, deeper blacks, enhanced brightness and very fast display speed, which limits the blurring effect in fast-moving scenes, ideal for video games. This approach also reduces energy consumption and makes it possible to use highly curved panels, for ever more immersive screens.
TCL CSOT combines HVA technology with Mini LED backlighting, made up of thousands of mini-diodes distributed behind the screen, capable of locally adjusting brightness and enhancing HDR rendering. Finally, a Quantum Dot layer is integrated to expand the color palette: these nanoparticles convert light to produce brighter, more precise colors, covering almost every color space sought by gamers and designers alike.

With proven, reliable technology, TCL delivers monitors that are particularly interesting for gaming, with high refresh rates and low response times. The Fast-HVA QD-Mini LED panel, which equips many displays from other manufacturers, also offers precise colors that are ideal for photographers, video creators and graphic designers. While brands such as Asus, LG and Samsung are battling it out in this highly competitive market, TCL’s new range could soon become a must-have.
