American start-up Tiny Vinyl is offering music lovers the chance to rediscover the vinyl experience. The company has just unveiled 4-inch singles, traditionally pressed and made from bio-attributed vinyl. These mini-discs contain around four minutes of music per side, perfectly suited to today’s hits.
Small size, big sound
Each Tiny Vinyl disc contains around four minutes of music per side and spins at 33 rpm, the same speed as a traditional record. They are compatible with most manual turntables, provided the tonearm can reach the center of the record and the auto-stop function is deactivated. This format is designed for the shorter tracks that are currently popular, while retaining the tactile experience and listening ritual of vinyl.
More eco-friendly vinyl records
While a standard 12-inch vinyl uses around 140 grams of plastic, each Tiny Vinyl disc weighs just 15 grams, resulting in a lesser environmental impact in terms of production and shipping. What’s more, these mini-discs are pressed from 100% bio-attributed PVC, making them a more environmentally-friendly option for fans of physical media. To attract the attention of fans, artists can fully customize the cover, label and color of the disc at the design stage. What’s more, each Tiny Vinyl comes with a unique serial number that guarantees its authenticity.

A star-studded US launch
Tiny Vinyl has partnered with US retailer Target, offering exclusive releases from a wide range of artists from Universal Music, Sony and Warner, including Gracie Adams, Doechii, The Rolling Stones, Mötley Crüe Lola Young, Britney Spears, Doja Cat, Bruno Mars and Black Sabbath. These little records retail for $14.99, making them an affordable way for fans to support their favorite musicians.
