The BenQ TK705i and TK705STi projectors support two dynamic image enhancement technologies: HDR-PRO and HDR10+.
🔎 HDR-PRO is a BenQ proprietary technology that dynamically adjusts brightness and contrast according to the content displayed. It combines two processes:
- LCE (Local Contrast Enhancer): local contrast enhancement,
- GCE (Global Contrast Enhancer): global optimization of light dynamics.
🔎 HDR10+, meanwhile, is an open standard that enables the projector to adapt frame by frame thanks to dynamic metadata, for a rendering that is more faithful to the director's intentions, particularly in dark or high-contrast scenes.
