Fall 2025 seems to mark a strategic turning point for XGIMI. The Chinese manufacturer, hitherto known for its consumer and portable projectors, will unveil its first professional model at the IFA show in Berlin. This eagerly-awaited launch will first take place at ShowStoppers on September 4, 2025, then at stand H21-117 from September 5 to 9. The first images released reveal an imposing device, designed to meet the demands of conference rooms, event spaces and even luxury home theaters.

Professional positioning for XGIMI Titan projector
For over ten years, XGIMI has built up a reputation in the home video projection segment, thanks to products such as the Horizon series and the MoGo models. The Titan, on the other hand, marks a breakthrough: it is designed above all for professionals. We already know this is a 4K Ultra HD projector, with an f/2.0 aperture and a projection ratio of between 1.2:1 and 1.8:1. These initial technical specs don’t tell the whole story, but they do show a desire to compete with solutions already present on the pro market. This is not simply a “more powerful Horizon”, but a product designed for other uses, with a clear ambition to appeal to corporate decision-makers, event organizers and audiovisual integrators.
This choice puts XGIMI up against established heavyweights such as Epson, Sony and BenQ, brands that have dominated the professional projector market for years. The XGIMI Titan projector could well shake up a sector often considered rigid, technical and not very affordable. If the Chinese manufacturer succeeds in applying the formulas that have made it a success with the general public to the professional market, such as sleek design, intelligent software and ease of installation, then the Titan could quickly become a serious competitor for the sector’s long-established players.

Professional projection needs still poorly met
The needs of professionals are still largely unmet. Event organizers are looking for powerful yet easy-to-install projectors, businesses want reliable tools without having to spend time on complex set-ups, and home theater enthusiasts hope to achieve a professional picture without committing to cumbersome configurations. The current market does not fully meet these expectations. The models available often offer high image quality, but their high cost and complexity of use sometimes limit their accessibility.
It is precisely this gap that XGIMI aims to bridge with the Titan. Brand president Apollo Zhong explains that the company has spent years perfecting the user experience for the consumer market, and that it’s now time to transpose this philosophy to the professional sector. Where competitors focus on numbers and specifications far removed from real needs, XGIMI wants to put flexibility, simplicity and visual integrity back at the forefront. This orientation, which has already proved its worth in the domestic range, becomes the foundation of a foray into the professional market that is intended to be lasting and structuring.

With the Titan, XGIMI isn’t just looking to enrich its catalog: the company is embarking on a new trajectory. Announced for IFA 2025 and already at the center of media discussions, this first professional projector combines the promise of 4K Ultra HD quality with technical choices adapted to demanding environments. But beyond the figures, it is the philosophy behind it that is particularly intriguing: to offer professionals the same simplicity and elegance that has made its domestic models so successful. If the Titan manages to live up to this promise, XGIMI could well reshape the landscape of professional projection, breathing new life into a market long dominated by a handful of historic brands.
