LG presents the UltraGear GX9 series, a new generation of OLED gaming monitors with an ultrawide format. Designed to combine performance and immersion, these screens combine ultra-wide resolution, a 240Hz refresh rate and near-zero latency. Available in 34″ and 45″, they usher in a more ambitious approach to PC gaming, where image quality and responsiveness come together without compromise.

UWQHD: ultra-wide resolution for extended vision
The UWQHD resolution of 3,440 × 1,440 pixels offers a panoramic format that optimizes the perception of environments and enlarges the workspace. In games, it provides natural, realistic immersion by covering more of the field of vision. When creating or multitasking, it enables several windows to be displayed side by side with no loss of legibility, an asset for both entertainment and productivity.
LG UltraGear GX9s feature versatile connectivity for PC and console configurations. There are two HDMI 2.1 ports capable of handling high-definition signals up to 240Hz, a DisplayPort 1.4 for latest-generation graphics cards, and a USB-C port supporting video, data and charging up to 65 watts. Two additional USB-A 3.0 ports let you connect keyboard, mouse or controller, while the DTS Headphone:X-compatible headphones output delivers immersive spatial sound.
Immersive, responsive curved OLED panel
The LG UltraGear OLED 34GX900A-B and LG UltraGear OLED 45GX900A-B monitors use an 800R curved OLED panel. This curvature envelops the field of vision and enhances the feeling of immersion, which is particularly useful in fast-paced games or simulations. OLED technology ensures absolute blacks and extreme contrast, while the OLED design enhances the panel’s brightness and longevity.
Built for competition, the GX9s boast a refresh rate of 240Hz and a response time of 0.03ms (GtG). These values guarantee perfect fluidity, with no blurring or perceptible latency. Compatibility with AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, NVIDIA G-Sync and VESA AdaptiveSync ensures impeccable synchronization between the graphics card and the display, eliminating image tearing.
Color fidelity and HDR True Black 400
Colorimetric coverage reaches 98.5% of DCI-P3, a level that meets the demands of the creative professions. In addition to their gaming performance, the GX9s will appeal to content creators, videographers and photographers looking for faithful color reproduction. The HDR True Black 400 certification guarantees contrast and detail management in dark areas of the picture, offering a precise reproduction of textures and gradations.

The new LG UltraGear GX9 monitors complete a range already marked by the prestigious LG UltraGear OLED 45GX950A-B, the flagship model in the series, with impressive 5K2K definition (5,120 x 2,160 pixels). With these UWQHD screens (3440 × 1440 pixels), LG extends its offer to smaller configurations. With their OLED panels, negligible response time, high refresh rate and precise colors, the GX9s are aimed above all at discerning gamers, but also at content creators.
