Hi-fi design and high-resolution Bluetooth compatibility

The Sennheiser HDB 630 use 42mm dynamic transducers to deliver a neutral, balanced and detailed sound reproduction, with a wide frequency response of 6Hz to 40kHz when used with the USB connection. In Bluetooth and analog mode, the response remains wide and reaches 22kHz. The headphones boast a sensitivity of 105 dB SPL at 1kHz and a harmonic distortion rate of less than 0.2%, even at high volume.

Bluetooth 5.2 Class 1 connectivity guarantees a stable wireless connection. The headphones support the most common audio profiles (A2DP, AVRCP, HFP) and numerous codecs, including SBC, AAC, aptX, aptX HD and aptX Adaptive. This compatibility ensures optimum playback depending on the sources and files, particularly in high resolution thanks to the included Sennheiser BTD 700 adapter.

🗒️ Expert's note
Bluetooth is divided into three main classes. Class 3 offers a very limited range of around 1 meter, class 2 reaches an average of 10 meters and equips most everyday devices, while class 1 can go up to 100 meters when there are no obstacles.

Adaptive ANC and customization via the app

The Sennheiser HDB 630 feature a hybrid active noise cancelling system. This technology combines internal and external microphones to dynamically analyze and compensate for ambient noise. The resulting isolation significantly enhances immersion without altering the quality of the audio signal.

Two MEMS microphones per earcup, with beam-forming technology, also ensure good voice pick-up during calls. The Sennheiser Smart Control Plus app provides access to a full parametric equalizer, offering the possibility of fine-tuning each frequency band. A dedicated crossfade function for listening to classical music is also part of the sound customization options.

Durable comfort, extended autonomy and accessories

Weighing just 311 grams, the HDB 630 headphones feature a circumaural construction designed for long-lasting comfort. The 700 mAh lithium-ion battery provides up to 60 hours of playback with the noise reduction activated. Ten minutes of charging is enough to recover 7 hours of autonomy, while a full charge requires around two hours via the USB-C port.

The headphones come with a full set of accessories: a hard carrying case, a USB-C cable, a mini-jack audio cable, an airplane adapter and the BTD 700 high-resolution Bluetooth USB-C adapter, and meet the brand’s quality standards in terms of both finish and user experience.

Summary

The Sennheiser HDB 630 target users looking for versatile wireless headphones capable of delivering a faithful, detailed sound reproduction, while offering good noise isolation and advanced sound customization. Their broad Bluetooth compatibility, impressive battery life and features designed for mobile listening make them an ideal solution for audiophiles on the move.
