This is the most powerful and advanced audio system ever integrated into a RAM pickup truck. The goal of this collaboration is to offer the driver and passengers exceptional sound quality, at the very heart of the driving experience.
This partnership highlights Klipsch’s expertise in high-fidelity sound and Panasonic’s talents in automotive technology integration. This alliance makes the most of the acoustic characteristics of the passenger compartment, turning it into a mobile auditorium.
A system with 23 drivers and 1,228 watts of power
The Klipsch Reference Premiere system in the Dodge RAM 1500 Tungsten is based on an impressive configuration. It features no fewer than 23 drivers, all specifically designed to adapt to the constraints and requirements of the vehicle’s interior. These drivers include titanium tweeters for precise high-frequency reproduction.
A high-performance 12-inch subwoofer completes the package, delivering deep, powerful bass. The entire system is powered by an amplifier with a combined output of over 1,200 watts. This combination ensures rich sound dynamics and a level of detail rarely achieved in the automotive world.
- 4 x high-performance drivers mounted in the headliner, that work with Panasonic’s proprietary DJX 3D Surround algorithm to create an immersive sound experience throughout the cabin, putting passengers at the center of the performance;
- 1-inch titanium tweeters offer an extended high frequency response, enhanced clarity and transparency, with a design inspired by the Klipsch Reference Premiere audiophile range;
- 1 x DualPower 12-inch high-excursion subwoofer for ultra-low frequency extension;
- 6×9-inch midbass drivers deliver impressive dynamics in each of the four doors;
- 3 x 3.5-inch coaxial drivers (left, center, right) are integrated into the dashboard to ensure a uniform front soundstage and complement the midrange for a three-way audio experience;
- 2 x 3.5-inch Centerback coaxial drivers are integrated into the rear of the driver and front passenger seats. They also provide three-way sound for second-row passengers.

The RAM 1500 Tungsten will be on show at the Palais des Congrès in Paris on October 25 and 26.
