The brand WiiM took advantage of the 2025 Paris Audio Video Show to confirm its soaring rise in the connected audio market. Renowned for its accessible, high-performance network players, this year the brand displayed a number of new additions to its range: an amplifier, connected speakers and subwoofer. Visitors to the show were able to discover a comprehensive and coherent approach to modern high-fidelity, focused on quality, simplicity and connectivity.

WiiM Amp Ultra, the all-in-one amp for connected systems
Among the new products presented at this year’s PAVS, the WiiM Amp Ultra caught the eye with its versatility. This connected amplifier is the keystone of the brand’s strategy. It features powerful 2 x 100W amplification into 8 ohms, an ESS ES9039Q2M DAC, a touchscreen interface and a full range of connectors (HDMI ARC, subwoofer output, RCA, optical and USB-A inputs). It can be used to drive a stereo or multichannel system, with precise sound adjustment and direct access to the main streaming platforms via the WiiM Home app.
Designed for easy integration into a home installation, the WiiM Amp Ultra offers a compact, high-performance alternative to traditional solutions, without compromising on sound reproduction. This connected amplifier, which impressed us during our review in September, also piqued the interest of visitors to the Paris Audio Video Show.

WiiM Sound Display: the brand’s first smart speaker
Another new feature at the show was the WiiM Sound Display smart speaker, designed for streaming. It features a two-way design with a 4″ woofer and two tweeters, fed by an amplifier module delivering up to 100W of power. It functions as both a main and a satellite speaker in a Dolby 5.1 WiiM configuration. Two speakers can be paired for stereo sound, or the Sub Pro subwoofer can be added for a more immersive soundstage.
In addition, the WiiM Sound Display boasts a Wi-Fi 6E controller, Chromecast and DLNA protocol compatibility, and support for the Bluetooth LC3 codec. Its touch-sensitive interface makes it easy to navigate between different sources, and it supports Alexa, Google Assistant and Siri voice commands. This compact speaker benefits from automatic acoustic correction, based on real-time measurements, and can be customized via a 10-band equalizer, for personalized sound. The WiiM Sound display is available in a black finish, ans a white version will be available shortly.
📒 Expert's note
Wi-Fi 6E extends Wi-Fi 6 to the 6GHz band, in addition to the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands. This offers more available channels, reduces congestion and improves stability in dense environments. It enables higher data rates, lower latency and more consistent performance for demanding applications such as augmented reality or 8K streaming.
WiiM Sub Pro, the easy-to-integrate active subwoofer
With the WiiM Sub Pro, the brand completes its range with an active subwoofer designed to enrich the listening experience at home. Equipped with a 7.9″ driver powered by a 250 watt amplification system, it delivers deep, dynamic low-frequency extension. Its advanced connectivity makes it easy to integrate, whether for music, films or gaming.

Wi-Fi 6E compatible and designed to work with WiiM Sound Display speakers, the Sub Pro is designed to be a modern, versatile solution. It shares the brand’s modular approach and combines acoustic performance, ease of use and elegant design.
Summary
The Paris Audio Video Show 2025 was the ideal opportunity for WiiM to present its new elegant and functional wireless system built around the WiiM Amp Ultra connected amplifier, Sound Display connected speakers and Sub Pro subwoofer. The equipment presented to visitors combines cutting-edge technologies (Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, Hi-Res streaming), a simplified interface and automatic acoustic adjustment, with the aim of covering all home listening needs.
