More brands and universes

In 2025, the Paris Audio Video Show (PAVS) reached a new milestone by further expanding its number of exhibitors. More than 500 brands came to present their innovations, sometimes for the first time, to image and sound enthusiasts. Visitors were able to discover the latest advances in amplification, headphones, speakers, televisions, projectors and the whole world of home theater.

In addition, there were areas dedicated to djing, stage sound, lighting and even musical instruments. This diversity illustrates a clear desire to embrace the entire audio and video ecosystem, both professional and consumer.

Increased attendance, a loyal public

With 33,450 visitors, the Paris Audio Video Show 2025 recorded a significant increase on the previous edition (32,000 enthusiasts in 2024). This increase confirms the public’s growing interest in an event that combines technical demonstrations, immersive experiences and discussions with experts. Industry professionals, enthusiasts, curious onlookers and audiovisual fans all turned out, contributing to the success of this year’s event.

The organizers reiterate their objective: “Through the Paris Audio Video Show, our goal is to celebrate passion for music, sound and image every year”. This global vision, combining technological innovation and artistic expression, seems to be finding an ever-wider audience.

Artistic performances and immersive experiences

The 2025 edition of PAVS also focused on live experiences. Visitors were able to attend concerts and conferences in optimal conditions. Highlights included a performance by DJ Cut Killer, the event’s sponsor, and pianist Éric Artz, who revisited iconic cinema and video game scores, from The Godfather to Mario Bros.

Another highlight was the 9.4.6 home theater specially designed to celebrate Son-Vidéo.com’s 25th anniversary. It hosted an immersive screening of Une Brève Histoire du Son, an audiovisual retrospective tracing the evolution of sound in cinema. A true demonstration of the audio excellence made possible by the cutting-edge technologies exhibited during the show. Thousands of curious onlookers flocked to the screening throughout the weekend.

PAVS also featured a host of custom-built projection rooms and exceptional hi-fi systems. For two days, enthusiasts enjoyed a unique opportunity to take advantage of the best technical and technological performances on offer.
