With the Aetherion series, AWOL Vision unveils its most advanced ultra-short-throw projector to date. Available in Max and Pro versions, this 4K triple-laser model promises ultra-precise images up to 200″ in diagonal, unprecedented sharpness thanks to PixelLock technology, and a low latency of 1ms for gaming.

The UST projector market accelerates
The growing success of ultra-short throw projectors reflects a major trend in the audiovisual market: the replacement of XXL TVs with more discreet, modular solutions. Placed just a few centimeters from the wall, these projectors deliver a very large image without the need to install them at a distance. Faced with this demand, several brands have positioned themselves, including Hisense, Leica, Formovie, Samsung and Epson, with models combining high brightness, laser light sources and connected platforms. With Aetherion, AWOL Vision is clearly aiming for the top end of the market, betting on optical precision and technical performance.
Awol’s promise: ultra-sharp 4K images up to 200 inches
The Aetherion Max and Pro projectors use a triple RGB laser architecture coupled with PixelLock technology, an exclusive optical and digital alignment system that guarantees pixel consistency across the entire projection surface, even at very large scale. AWOL therefore announces 4K fidelity without chromatic aberration or edge blur, up to 200 inches.

In addition to high definition, native contrast reaches 6,000:1 (60,000:1 in EBL mode), with up to 3,300 ISO lumens of brightness for the Max (2,600 for the Pro). Compatibility with Dolby Vision, HDR10+, IMAX Enhanced and Filmmaker Mode ensures full support for HDR content, with scene-by-scene dynamic processing via Dynamic Tone Mapping.
Designed for consistent visual quality
AWOL Vision also relies on an advanced optical design, incorporating high refractive index Sapphire lenses and a Diamond-Like Carbon coating that increases light transmission to 99.97%. This choice limits internal reflections in the light path and improves overall image sharpness. A 7-level IRIS system allows dynamic adjustment of brightness and contrast to suit different scenes.

Anti-RBE technology reduces the rainbow-like visual artifacts often found on DLP projectors. All of these elements are designed to deliver a precise, stable and natural image, even in less-than-ideal viewing conditions, such as a living room in the middle of the day.
Responsiveness for gamers
The Aetherion model also stands out for its gaming performance. It boasts a latency of just 1ms in 1080p at 240Hz, support for VRR (variable refresh rate) and ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode), as well as Dolby Vision Gaming compatibility – a first for a UST projector.

The system is based on the MT9655 processor, with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, and runs Android TV 14.0. Connectivity is also top-notch, with a Gigabit Ethernet port and Wi-Fi 7, for smooth access to the most demanding online games and streaming services.
Summary
With the Aetherion series, AWOL Vision aims to set a new standard in the booming market for ultra short throw projectors. Image quality, lens performance, advanced HDR compatibility and responsiveness for gaming are just some of the arguments that put these models head and shoulders above the industry benchmarks. A top-of-the-range solution designed for those who want to combine a spectacular image, discretion and flexibility.
