The High End Days continue! After Paris Est in September, we’re off to Alsace. Son-Vidéo.com invites you to its Strasbourg showroom on Saturday March 7, 2026 for an exceptional day of high fidelity. Dubbed High End Days, this unique gathering will be an opportunity to (re)discover high-end hifi through several exceptional systems installed in our auditoriums, specially redesigned for the event.
High End Days with Jean-Marie Hubert
After an exceptional event last September at the Son-Vidéo.com store in Paris Est (Champigny-sur-Marne), High End Days are back for a new, even more ambitious edition in your Strasbourg store. The ultimate rendezvous for audiophiles and music lovers, High End Days showcases exceptional hi-fi systems, carefully selected for their sonic accuracy, emotional power and ability to bring music to life with striking realism.
To orchestrate this event, the Son-Vidéo.com teams drew on the expertise of Jean-Marie Hubert, a key figure on the French audiophile scene. A true pioneer and visionary of high-fidelity, Jean-Marie Hubert left his mark on the history of audio in France in 1978, when he created the mythical “Journées de l’audiophile et de la haute-fidélité d’exception”, a founding event that laid the foundations for the major French hi-fi shows and inspired what would later become the Paris Audio Video Show. Backed by decades of experience and recognized for his exacting standards and contagious passion, he now brings all his legitimacy and know-how to High End Days. He will host the event like no other, transforming each demonstration into a true experience of sharing and discovery.

Total immersion in the very high-end
Throughout the day, you’ll have the opportunity to listen to prestigious systems from some of the biggest names on the international audiophile scene. Demonstrations will follow one another around a variety of equipment and multiple sources (CD/SACD, vinyl or Hi-Res streaming) to explore and compare very different technical and musical approaches. Whether you’re a fan of the refinement of tube electronics, a follower of the rigor of Class A or D, or simply curious about the latest innovations in DACs, streaming or speakers, High End Days will offer you a rich experience, capable of nourishing both your ears and your passion.
Martin Logan ESL15A: the magic of the acoustic panel
Last September, we introduced you to systems as rare as they are spectacular, including the impressive Martin Logan Neolith, unanimously acclaimed by visitors for their sheer size and extraordinary realism. This year, the electrostatic panel specialist is back with the Martin Logan Renaissance ESL 15A, the flagship of the Masterpiece range. These speakers combine an imposing 117 cm XStat CLS panel with two 30 cm woofers, each powered by its own 500 W amplifier module incorporating a 24-bit DSP processor.
A technological showcase of Martin Logan know-how, the Renaissance ESL 15A offers exceptionally transparent reproduction, supported by a three-dimensional soundstage and a rare coherence between the speed of the panel and the depth of the amplified bass. This exceptional speaker, priced at €33,000, will be paired with a Michi set backed by an Eversolo DMP A8 network player for Hi-Res streaming. This ensemble promises immediate immersion that will seduce the most demanding audiophiles from the very first measurements.

Sonus Faber Sonetto V G2: Italian craftsmanship
The Italian manufacturer also took part in last September’s event with the Sonus Faber Serafino, and for this year’s edition in Strasbourg, it’s back with the Sonus Faber Sonetto V G2 floorstanding speakers. Faithful to the DNA of the transalpine company, this second-generation model combines elegant craftsmanship and exceptional acoustic design, in a more accessible but still profoundly high-end format.
Inspired by the aesthetics of Italian lutherie, the Sonus Faber Sonetto V G2 loudspeaker will immediately win you over with its curved lines, the quality of its wood finishes and the attention paid to the smallest details, including the concrete base. But beyond the object itself, it’s the musical performance that will attract attention. The speaker adopts a three-way architecture based around a 28 mm DAD silk dome tweeter, the brand’s emblematic technology, guaranteeing delicate, perfectly controlled high frequencies. It is supported by two 16.5 cm bass drivers and a midbass driver with camellia cone, a model developed in-house to enhance the harmonic and natural richness of timbre, particularly on vocals.

The system will be powered by the legendary McIntosh MA12000, a hybrid integrated amplifier combining tube preamplification and transistor power stage in the purest tradition of the American brand. A true masterpiece, it delivers an impressive 2 x 350 watts of power, identical at 8, 4 and even 2 ohms, ensuring total speaker control. To vary the pleasures and explore all the facets of this exceptional system, several sources will be used, including a turntable by Transrotor. A global benchmark in the world of high-end vinyl, the German manufacturer has made a name for itself with its sculptural, ultra-precise creations, dedicated to analog playback of exemplary rigor and musicality. A combination that promises listening experiences as powerful as they are moving.
