With 2026 now underway, FiiO is continuing to gradually develop its hi-fi catalog with a new series of announcements designed to consolidate its position in the wired headphones market. The SNOWSKY WIND PRO and future monitoring headphones project illustrate this approach, with two models designed to meet very different expectations.
These announcements come during a particularly active period of communication for the brand. For several days now, FiiO has been increasing its presence on the social network X, gradually lifting the veil on its product plans for 2026, both for headphones and other audio equipment.
The evolution of the WIND headphones with the WIND PRO
The WIND on-ear headphones from SNOWSKY, a FiiO subsidiary, were met with mixed reactions when they went on sale. Some users expressed reservations about their sound reproduction.
According to FiiO, this is largely due to the profile of the buyers. The WIND appeal above all for their retro design and comfort, two important criteria for prolonged listening or daily use. Conversely, the negative feedback came mainly from users evaluating it on strictly hi-fi criteria, without taking into account its original positioning.

The WIND PRO is the result of this observation. This more ambitious version retains the visual spirit of the original model, while adopting a clearly hi-fi approach to sound. The design makes certain compromises in terms of comfort and aesthetics in order to prioritize sound quality. The manufacturing cost is also higher, which should result in a higher price point.
FiiO announces a new sound signature, with calibration designed to meet the expectations of those looking for precision and balance. The WIND PRO are scheduled to launch in June. This model is aimed at a specific audience, who enjoy the retro supra-aural format but want to enjoy a more sophisticated listening experience more consistent with hi-fi standards.
Monitoring headphones for the end of the year
At the same time, FiiO is preparing a pair of monotoring headphones for release by the end of 2026. At this stage, detailed technical specifications have not yet been released. FiiO emphasizes that no single headphone can meet all current needs simultaneously. Expectations related to music, cinema, gaming and pro audio differ too much to be combined without major compromises.
The year 2026 will be marked by several product launches
Alongside these wired headphones, other segments are also the focus of major developments at FiiO. In particular, the brand has announced its plans for traditional hi-fi, with the arrival of new devices designed for more classic home listening. These include the FiiO EA13, a tube amplifier that marks a clear move towards home hi-fi solutions.

FiiO’s Bluetooth headphones are expected to make a strong comeback in 2026.
FIIO also presented projects designed for gaming. These models mark a new stage for the brand in this field. All these announcements add up to a dense roadmap for 2026, leaving it up to each user to choose the equipment best suited to their listening habits.
