KEF Porsche Design: a Bluetooth speaker and two pairs of headphones

KEF and Porsche Design have recently teamed up to develop three portable audio products. Baptized One, this range includes a pair of circumaural headphones, a speaker and a pair of in-ear headphones. All three products fuse together the expertise of the two brands, from the luxurious and meticulous work of Porsche?s team of designers to KEF?s mastery of hi-fi audio. On display at the KEF booth at the ?Son et Image? fair held a few weeks ago, we asked Frederic Vanderveken, Sales & Marketing Director at KEF France and Benelux, to introduce us to these very enticing products!

The Space One headphones from KEF ? Porsche Design. This pair of circumaural, closed-back headphones is Bluetooth apt-X compatible. It benefits from active noise cancellation technology to ensure a pleasurable listening experience in noisy environments. Sound restitution is entrusted to 1.5? transducers fitted with a ¾? neodyme magnet. With the active noise cancellation function enabled, the device will operate for 50 hours on a single charge.

The Gravity One loudspeaker from KEF ? Porsche Design is compatible with the high-quality apt-X codec. The speaker will operate for 10 hours on a single charge and features a USB port. It is thus possible to charge a smartphone by connecting it directly to the speaker (PowerBank function).

The Motion One in-ear headphones from KEF ? Porsche Design. Featuring Bluetooth wireless transmission technology, these headphones also support the apt-X codec. The Motion One will operate for approximately 10 hours on a single charge.

Each of these products is made of high-quality, carefully finished material, including brushed aluminum, and benefits from state-of-the-art technologies, such as KEF Uni-Q (tweeter alignment in the center of the low-mid driver) for improved sound placement and a more natural listening experience. The One range from KEF and Porsche Design will be launched in Europe in the coming weeks and will be available for purchase on Son-Vidéo.com.
