The consumer electronics brand TCL is partnering with a new French eSports team: Gentle Mates. Founded by Squeezie, Brawks and Gotaga, the team is expected to play several games, starting with Valorant, whose compatriots joined forces under the acronym SBG for Super Beaux Gosses (which also happens to be the acronym of their nickname) and won the French championships last March.
Gentle Mates and TCL, strong values
With this partnership announcement, TCL underlines its commitment to the world of professional gaming and its desire to further elevate eSports in France. While there are many good players in France, they are often poached by more prestigious international teams. We can only be impressed by this new French team which, in addition to finding high-quality sponsors, has real assets to recruit a new generation of players and perform on the international stage.
The Gentle Mates team aims to advance in eSports, alongside well-known French teams such as Vitality and La Karmine Corp. The increasing competition is also a way to improve the level of all professional players in France.
TCL, a major player in gaming and entertainment
TCL is known for its commitment to innovation and its dedication to providing high quality equipment that meets the needs of gamers. With its TV lines featuring advanced gaming features (native 144Hz, HDMI 2.1, ALLM, VRR, FreeSync), TCL delivers a more responsive and immersive gaming experience. Included from the beginning of the design process, these features meet the expectations of all types of gamers (picture smoothness, low latency, ultra-fast response time…).
With a unique blend of highly competitive talent and powerful sponsors, Gentle Mates and TCL aim to promote competition and excellence in the world of eSports, while bringing together a passionate community of gamers and fans from around the world. They may well expand their area of expertise to Rocket League, LoL and Fortnite in the future. We can’t wait to see them perform internationally and support them in the arena!
