Argon Audio is making its debut in the Son-Vidéo.com catalog! The Danish manufacturer offers turntables, wireless speakers, connected speakers and radios with Scandinavian-influenced designs. The brand, descendant of HiFi Klubben, wants to make the most popular equipment in the world of audio accessible to as many people as possible. According to Argon Audio, quality doesn’t have to come at a high price.
Argon Audio’s history
A country of high fidelity specialists, Denmark has seen the birth of many players in the audio market. Following in the footsteps of Bang & Olufsen, Tangent, Dali, Ortofon, Eltax, Jamo and Lyngdorf, Argon Audio now joins the list of Danish manufacturers featured in the Son-Vidéo.com catalog.
Argon Audio has been an independent company since 2019. Prior to this, it was a subsidiary of HiFi Klubben, founded in 1983 by Peter Lyngdorf, also behind Dali and his eponymous company. For many years, Argon Audio has been developing its equipment with the goal of offering unbeatable value for money.

The Danish manufacturer scored its first success with the Argon Audio DAB1 table-top radio. A tradition that the brand continues to uphold with its radios. Over time, they have incorporated modern technologies such as Bluetooth.
Argon Audio, radios
Culturally very present in Northern Europe, table-top radios are one of Argon Audio’s specialties. Mentioned earlier, the DAB1 radio helped to bring Argon Audio to the forefront. The manufacturer now offers 3 radio models: the Argon Audio Radio 1, Argon Audio Radio 2 and Argon Audio Radio 3.

The Radio 1 features a built-in driver and dual FM and DAB/DAB+ tuners. With its alarm function, this compact radio fits easily into a bedroom, kitchen or living room. Its design, a blend of Scandinavian and vintage influences, makes it a truly decorative object. The Argon Audio Radio 2 clock takes the same features and adds Bluetooth connectivity. The Argon Audio Radio 3 clock is distinguished by its larger format, allowing it to integrate a second driver.

Argon Audio, connected speakers
The Argon Audio Radio 2i MK2 and Argon Audio Radio 3i MK2 connected speakers have the same chassis as the radios. However, these connected speakers are equipped with a WiFi controller that provides access to web radios. What’s more, Radio 2i MK2 and Radio 3i MK2 integrate the Spotify Connect protocol.

Argon Audio, wireless speakers
Argon Audio also offers hi-fi wireless speakers. The Fenris range includes highly versatile active compact speakers. The Argon Audio Fenris Active A4 wireless hi-fi speaker is 2-way, bass-reflex model featuring a 2 x 75 watt amplifier. This powers the 4″ midbass driver and the 0.75″ neodymium tweeter.

The strength of Argon Audio Fenris Active A4 hi-fi wireless speakers lies in their versatility. With a Bluetooth connection, phono (MM) input, HDMI ARC and pre-out, they can be wirelessly connected to a smartphone, turntable, TV or subwoofer! This appreciable connectivity means that their use can evolve over time. Available in 3 finishes (black, white or light oak), the Argon Audio Fenris Active A4 hi-fi wireless speakers are priced at €399.

Argon Audio, turntables
As for record players, Argon Audio has built its offer around the TT range. Argon Audio TT turntables are the entry ticket to the series. Priced at €229, they feature integrated RIAA pre-amplification and an Audio-Technica AT3600L moving-magnet cartridge. A Plug and Play model, the Argon Audio TT vinyl turntable is very easy to use and is ideal for a first vinyl installation at home.

Next up are the Argon Audio TT-3 and Argon Audio TT-4 turntables. The first is equipped with an Ortofon OM 5E cartridge and an aluminum tonearm, designed to limit vibrations. The second features a phono preamp and the bestselling Ortofon 2M Red cartridge. It’s also the brand’s first turntable to feature ATS technology.
