A true benchmark in its home country, Chinese video projection specialist Xgimi has only been officially imported into Europe for two years. IFA 2023 was the ideal opportunity for the brand to showcase all its HD and 4K connected projectors, including the brand-new Xgimi Horizon Ultra, unveiled for the occasion.

IFA 2023: Xgimi, China’s projection giant
Xgimi is renowned for its compact, portable 1080p HD projectors such as the Xgimi MoGo Pro+, Xgimi MoGo 2 Pro, Xgimi Elfin and Xgimi Halo+.

However, Xgimi has decided to diversify its catalog with long-throw projectors such as the Xgimi Horizon (HD 1080p) and Xgimi Horizon Pro 4K, as well as an ultra-short-throw 4K model: the Xgimi Aura.
IFA 2023: Xgimi Horizon Ultra
The manufacturer’s latest product, the Xgimi Horizon Ultra, was prominently displayed on the stand to highlight its qualities. Mounted on the ceiling, it effortlessly projected a large 100″ (2.5m) image, despite the ambient light.

This premium 4K projector stands out for its ease of use and 4K HDR Dolby Vision image quality. It uses a very bright LED and laser hybrid light source that ensures natural, realistic colors. It is Dolby Vision and HDR10 compatible (2 HDMI ports) and its audio section, designed by Harman Kardon, supports Dolby and DTS audio tracks.

IFA 2023: a successor to the Xgimi Aura?
On its stand, Xgimi also presented a new ultra-short-throw projector that could well succeed the Xgimi Aura, should the manufacturer decide to market it in Europe. More compact, this model adopts a design that follows in the footsteps of the Xgimi Horizon Ultra, with a chassis featuring a gold finish and cream fabric. It also features Dual Light hybrid technology (RGB LED + laser) to project bright, high-contrast 4K Dolby Vision images with rich, natural colors.

Determined to conquer the European market, Xgimi showed visitors to IFA 2023 the richness of its range and demonstrated its mastery of 4K and Dolby Vision projection.
