New TCL releases at PAVS 2023

The 2023 Paris Audio Video Show will be opening its doors at the Palais des Congrès on October 21 and 22. During the largest French hi-fi and home theater trade fair, TCL has decided to present its new TV ranges to the public.


The PAVS 2023 show is the perfect opportunity to discover the latest TCL Mini LED TVs that the Chinese manufacturer hopes will win over fans of large 4K HDR pictures. Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos for movies, 4K 144Hz and VRR for video games: the new TCL television should impress discerning home cinema enthusiasts and gamers. TCL XMQLED98 (TCL X955): premium XXL mini LED TVs

Spearheading the manufacturer’s 2024 collection, the TCL X955 series, available on Son-Vidéo.com under the reference TCL XMQLED98, features band-new and exclusive Mini LED technology. The latter uses micro lenses to increase the power of the backlighting and better regulate the brightness. Brightness peaks now reach 5000 nits (in bright mode, and 2000 nits in standard mode), and the backlighting is controlled across 5000 different zones! The 4.2.2-channel audio section, developed with Onkyo, supports both Dolby Atmos and DTS HD.

At its Paris Audio Video Show stand, the manufacturer will present the 115” model from this range, which will be available in 2024 under the reference TCL 115XMQLED98. The TCL 85XMQLED98 (2.14m) and TCL 98XMQLED98 (2.48m), however, should be available this Christmas!

TCL MQLED98 (TCL C955): ultra-bright mid-range TVs

With brightness peaks of 1,500 nits, the TCL MQLED98 range lets you enjoy all 4K HDR content, even in brightly-lit rooms.

At PAVS 2023, you’ll also be able to discover the heart of TCL’s next generation of Mini LED TVs, the TCL MQLED98 (TCL C955) range, with a 98″ model! The brightness of these televisions reaches 2000 nits, with precise control across 2000 different zones. The built-in audio system provides an immersive Dolby Atmos experience over 2.2.2 channels.

In 2023, the range includes two very large screen sizes: the TCL 85MQLED98 (2.14m) and TCL 98MQLED98 (2.48m). TCL has announced the arrival of three more models in 2024, with screen sizes of 164cm (65MQLED98), 189cm (75MQLED98) and even 2.92m (115MQLED98).

TCL MQLED80 (TCL C805): mini LED for the masses!

Chinese manufacturer TCL has also expressed its determination to make Mini LED technology more accessible with the TCL MQLED80 (TCL C805) range. These televisions feature a mini LED QLED display with a maximum brightness of 1,300 nits, Dolby Vision/Atmos compatibility and the Google TV interface.

The TCL MQLED80 TVs’ Mini LED technology provides high brightness peaks while optimizing contrast thanks to precise backlighting control.

TCL C935U soundbar
