Tangent is adding to its Spectrum speaker range with a Bluetooth model named Tangent Spectrum Square. Like the other references in the Danish manufacturer’s series, the Spectrum Square has a contemporary design that can be easily integrated into any living room.
With its width of 33cm and depth of 20cm, the Tangent Spectrum Square is designed to be placed inside IKEA Kallax and Expedit furniture. This Scandinavian collab lets you enjoy stereo sound without spoiling your decor.
Tangent Spectrum Square, 60 watts of power
The Danish manufacturer’s new creation features two 4.3″ midbass drivers. It is also equipped with a pair of 0.75″ tweeters for the highs. These drivers are powered by a built-in amplification system delivering 60W RMS (peaks of up to 100W).
To provide deeper bass, two front-firing ports optimize air flow behind the midbass drivers. As a result, the Bluetooth speaker covers a wide frequency range of 50Hz to 22kHz. The placement of the two ports on the front panel is ideal for installing the speaker in an IKEA unit or next to a wall.
5 different colors
Since integration is at the heart of the development process for the new Spectrum Square connected speaker, the manufacturer offers several grilles in various colors. The device is delivered with one gray and one black fabric grille. Optional grilles in white, pink, orange, red or blue are available to ensure seamless integration with the decor of the listening space.
Note that TWS Bluetooth daisy-chaining enables two models to be wirelessly connected for a more powerful stereo system in a large space. The Tangent Spectrum Square connected speaker will be available in early December for 249 euros. An optional grille costs 19 euros. You can listen to this new speaker exclusively on October 21 and 22 at the Paris Audio Video Show 2023.
